R. STAHL 8530/1-MCB-STA102-C40-000-2 Circuit Breaker
Article Number: 293975
Product Overview
The R. STAHL 8530/1-MCB-STA102-C40-000-2 circuit breaker is part of the system technology components. It is designed for use in hazardous environments and offers good current limitation in case of short circuits with a high breaking capacity of 10, 15, or 25 kA. This reduces the load on electrical lines and provides high selectivity with respect to upstream fuses. The modules feature a modular design, are available in 1 to 4-pole models, and support nominal currents from 0.5–63 A. The maximum mounting capacity is 4.5 division units.
Key Features:
- Disconnector function according to EN 60947-2
- Energy limitation class 3
- Simple replacement or expansion of installations due to modular design
- Easy mounting via DIN mounting rail in Ex e enclosures
- Thermally and magnetically tripped
- Ergonomic operating lever for safe connection and disconnection
- Protection against re-closing during maintenance using padlocks (Accessories)

Trip Characteristic C: A graph shows the trip time in seconds and minutes against multiples of the rated current (I/In). The curve illustrates the tripping behavior for a C-type characteristic, indicating the time it takes for the breaker to trip based on the overcurrent level. The graph includes a limit curve from the cold state.
Measurement Diagram (all dimensions in [inches]): This diagram provides the overall dimensions of the circuit breaker, including width, depth, and height, with both metric and imperial units indicated. It also shows the mounting dimensions and details related to the pole configuration.
Accessories
- Cylinder Lock: For blocking (shackle Ø 3). Part Number: 107115. This accessory allows for the physical locking of the circuit breaker.
- Fixing Kit: A set of fixings for mounting the component on a mounting plate without a top-hat rail. Part Number: 276618.
- Quadruple Immobilization Device: Locking pliers / labeling device for individual component locking using up to 4 cylinder locks. Part Number: 227232.
