Caring for Your Watch
- Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover yourself.
- The gasket, which protects the watch from water and dust, should be replaced every 2-3 years.
- If water enters the watch, have it checked immediately by your nearest CASIO dealer or distributor.
- Do not expose the watch to extreme temperatures.
- While designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping the watch.
- Do not wear the strap too tightly. A finger should fit between your wrist and the strap.
- To clean the watch and strap, use a dry soft cloth or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile substances like gasoline, solvents, or spray cleaners.
- When not in use, store your watch in a dry place.
- Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, spray aerosols, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions from these materials can damage gaskets, the case, and the watch's finish.
- Some models have silk-screened designs on their straps. Clean these straps carefully to avoid damaging the designs.
For Watches with Plastic Straps:
- A white powdery substance may appear on the strap. This substance is harmless to skin and clothing and can be easily removed by wiping with a cloth.
- Exposure of plastic straps to sweat or moisture, or storage in high humidity conditions, can lead to damage, breakage, or cracking. To ensure a long service life for plastic straps, wipe off dirt and water with a soft cloth whenever possible.
For Watches with Fluorescent Cases and Straps:
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the fluorescent color to gradually fade.
- Prolonged contact with moisture may cause the fluorescent color to gradually fade. If moisture gets on the watch surface, wipe it off as soon as possible.
- Prolonged contact with any other wet surface may cause the fluorescent color to fade. Ensure the fluorescent surface is dry and avoid contact with other surfaces.
- Rubbing a surface with fluorescent paint against another surface may transfer the fluorescent paint.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur from the use of this watch, nor does it accept claims from third parties.
