Notes:
- Level I watches are not water-resistant. Avoid all contact with water.
- Do not press buttons underwater.
- If the watch comes into contact with salt water, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and dry it.
- Level V watches can be used for scuba diving (excluding depths requiring helium-oxygen gas mixtures).
- Some water-resistant watches have leather straps. Do not wear these models while swimming or engaging in activities where the strap may get wet.
Watch Care
- Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover.
- The gasket, which protects the watch from water and dust, should be replaced every 2-3 years.
- If moisture enters the watch, have it checked immediately by an authorized CASIO dealer.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme high or low temperatures.
- While designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping the watch.
- Do not overtighten the strap. A finger should fit between your wrist and the strap.
- Clean the watch and strap with a dry, soft cloth, or a soft cloth dampened with a mild solution of neutral detergent and water. Never use volatile substances like gasoline, solvents, aerosol cleaners, etc.
- When not in use, store the watch in a dry place.
- Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosol sprays, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions can damage gaskets, the case, and the watch's finish.
- Some models feature silk-screened designs on the strap. Clean these carefully and avoid rubbing vigorously to prevent damage to the designs.
- For watches with polymer straps: A white powdery substance may appear on the strap. This substance is harmless and can be easily removed by wiping with a cloth.
General Operation
This watch features multiple modes: Timekeeping, Moon Phase, Tide Graph, Stopwatch, and Alarm. Press the 'C' button to cycle through modes. Pressing 'C' after an operation returns you to the Timekeeping Mode.
Timekeeping Mode
In Timekeeping Mode, you can view either the current time and date or the temperature. Press the 'D' button to switch between these displays.
Display Elements:
- Time/Date Display: Shows hours, minutes, seconds, AM/PM indicator, month, day, and day of the week.
- Temperature Display: Shows the current temperature.
- Graph Indicator: A bar graph indicates temperature changes.
- Moon Phase Indicator: Shows the current moon phase.
- Month/Day Display: Shows the current month and day.
Setting Time and Date:
- Press and hold the 'A' button while the time/date display is shown. The seconds digits will flash, indicating they are ready for adjustment.
- Press the 'C' button to cycle through the digits to be set: Seconds, Hours, Minutes, Day of Week, Month, Day, Year.
- Use the 'D' button to increase a flashing digit or the 'B' button to decrease it. Holding either button allows for faster adjustment.
- To reset seconds to '00', press 'D' when seconds are flashing. If seconds are between 30-59, minutes will increment when seconds reset. If seconds are 00-29, minutes remain unchanged.
- To switch between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour formats, press 'D' when the hour digits are flashing.
- After setting all values, press 'A' twice to return to the normal timekeeping display.
Caution: The date can be set from January 1, 1995, to December 31, 2039. If no buttons are pressed for several minutes during setting, the display will stop flashing and return to the normal timekeeping mode.
Important: After setting, the watch may take a moment to process the data, indicated by rapid movement in the graphic display. Wait for this to stop before entering new information.
Daylight Saving Time: When adjusting for Daylight Saving Time, remember to advance the time by one hour and adjust world time differences accordingly.

Stopwatch Mode
The stopwatch measures elapsed time, split times, and 1st/2nd place times. The maximum measurement is 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds.
Operation:
- Press 'C' to enter Stopwatch Mode.
- a) Measuring Elapsed Time: Press 'D' to start, 'B' to stop, 'C' to reset.
- b) Measuring Split Time: Press 'D' to start, 'D' to split, 'D' to resume, 'B' to stop, 'C' to reset.
- c) Measuring 1st and 2nd Place Times: Press 'D' to start, 'D' to split (records 1st place), 'D' to resume (records 2nd place), 'B' to stop, 'C' to reset.
Thermometer Functions
The built-in thermometer measures ambient temperature and displays it in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). The thermometer can be calibrated.
Temperature Measurement:
For accurate readings, remove the watch from your wrist and place it in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Ensure the watch case is dry. The watch temperature will stabilize with the ambient temperature after approximately 20-30 minutes. Body heat and direct sunlight can affect readings.
Temperature Readings:
- To display temperature, enter Timekeeping Mode and press 'D'.
- Press 'A' and hold it while the temperature reading is flashing to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
Temperature Graph: The graph shows how temperature readings are affected by body heat or clothing when worn on the wrist.

Alarm Functions
The watch features a daily alarm and an hourly chime.
Daily Alarm: Sounds for 20 seconds at the set time each day. Press any button to stop.
Hourly Chime: Sounds at the top of each hour.
Setting the Alarm Time:
- Press 'C' to enter Alarm Mode.
- Press and hold 'A'. The hour digits will flash.
- Press 'C' to cycle through digits: Hours, Minutes.
- Use 'D' to increase or 'B' to decrease digits. Holding the button allows faster adjustment.
- The alarm time format (12/24-hour) matches the Timekeeping Mode setting.

Enabling/Disabling Alarms:
In Alarm Mode, press 'B' to cycle through alarm settings: Daily Alarm Only, Hourly Chime Only, Both Alarms Enabled, Both Alarms Disabled.
Testing Alarms: Press and hold 'D' to hear the alarm sound.
Temperature Sensor Calibration
The temperature sensor is factory-calibrated. However, if readings appear inaccurate, you can recalibrate it.
Caution: Incorrect calibration can lead to inaccurate readings. Follow instructions carefully.
- Compare watch readings with a reliable thermometer.
- Remove the watch and let it stabilize for 20-30 minutes before calibrating.
- Perform calibration quickly to avoid body heat influence.
How to Calibrate:
- In Timekeeping Mode, press 'D' to display the temperature.
- Press and hold 'A' until the temperature digits flash.
- Press 'C' to select Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
- Press 'A' to return to the temperature display.
- While digits are flashing, press 'D' to increase the temperature reading by 0.1°C (or 0.2°F), or 'B' to decrease it.
- Calibration range is -9.9°C to +9.9°C (-18.0°F to +18.0°F).
- To reset to factory calibration, press 'B' and 'D' simultaneously.
- Press 'A' to exit calibration.
Moon Phase Mode
Ensure Timekeeping and coordinate settings are correct before using this mode. It displays the moon's age and transit times.

Displaying Moon Transit Times:
The watch displays the moon's age and the times it crosses the upper and lower transit points relative to your location for a given date.
- Press 'C' to enter Moon Phase Mode.
- Press 'D' to advance the date or 'B' to go back. Holding the button allows faster scrolling.
- After selecting a date, the watch will calculate and display the moon transit times.
Tide Graph Mode
Properly set current time, coordinates, and tidal interval before using this mode. The watch generates a tide graph based on this information.
Calculating Tidal Interval:
- Find the time of high tide for your desired location.
- Use the watch to find the moon's upper transit time just before the high tide.
- Subtract the moon's transit time from the high tide time to get the tidal interval.
Setting Tidal Interval:
- In Moon Phase Mode, press and hold 'A' until the tide graph digits and hour flash.
- Use 'C' to select the digit to change.
- Use 'D' to increase or 'B' to decrease the value. Holding the button allows faster adjustment.
- Press 'A' to enter Tide Graph Mode.
Displaying Tide Graph: The graph shows water level changes over time. The horizontal axis is time, and the vertical axis is water level.
How to Display Tide Graph for a Specific Time:
- Press 'C' to enter Moon Phase Mode.
- Press 'A' to enter Tide Graph Mode. The graph will show data for 6:00 AM for the current date.
- Use 'D' to increase the hour or 'B' to decrease it. Holding the button allows faster adjustment.
