Important Information
Water Resistance
The watch's water resistance rating indicates its ability to withstand water pressure. Different levels are indicated by markings on the watch case:
- No Water Resistance: Avoid any contact with water.
- WATER RESISTANT (50M): Suitable for splashes, rain, and washing the car. Not suitable for swimming or diving.
- 50M WATER RESISTANT: Can be used during showering and brief swimming.
- 100M WATER RESISTANT: Suitable for regular swimming and snorkeling.
- 200M WATER RESISTANT: Suitable for scuba diving (excluding helium-oxygen mixtures).
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution and water, then wipe dry. Avoid volatile solvents like benzine or paint thinner.
- Storage: Store in a dry place when not in use.
- Chemicals: Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, spray cleaners, adhesives, paints, etc., as they can damage gaskets and the case.
- Screen Printing: Be careful when cleaning resin bands with screen printing to avoid damaging the designs.
- Resin Bands: White powder may appear on resin bands due to friction; this is normal and can be wiped off. Sweat or moisture can damage resin bands; wipe them clean with a soft cloth.
- Fluorescent Cases/Bands: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture can cause fluorescent colors to fade. Avoid strong friction with other surfaces to prevent color transfer.
Power Source: Solar Charging
Solar Power System
This watch is powered by a solar panel and a rechargeable battery. Keep the watch exposed to light to ensure it stays charged.
Battery Level Indicator
The display shows the battery charge level:
- Level 1-2: All functions available.
- Level 3: Auto backlight and alarms may become unavailable.
- Level 4: Some functions are disabled.
- Level 5: All functions are disabled, and settings reset to factory defaults.
Recharging
Recharge the watch by exposing the solar panel to light. The charging time varies depending on the light source:
- Direct Sunlight: Approximately 5 minutes for basic operation, longer for full charge.
- Fluorescent Light: Approximately 8 minutes for basic operation.
Avoid covering the solar panel with clothing, as this significantly reduces charging efficiency.
