Sonoff Pow R2 User Guide
Welcome to using the Sonoff Pow R2! This device allows you to monitor the real-time power, current, and voltage of connected devices. It also measures power usage over specified periods, provides overload protection with settable threshold values, and tracks daily/monthly power consumption. The Sonoff Pow R2 supports 90-250V AC input, with a maximum current of 16A and a maximum power of 3500W.
1. Download the "eWeLink" App
Search for "eWeLink" in the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android) to download the application.

3. Add Device
- Power up your device.
- Press and hold the button for 7 seconds until the green LED blinks rapidly (3 times, then on repeatedly), indicating it's in pairing mode.
- Open the eWeLink app and tap the '+' icon.
- Select "Quick Pairing Mode (TOUCH)" and tap "Next". The app will automatically search for the device.
- Input your home Wi-Fi SSID and password. Note that eWeLink currently only supports the 2.4G Wi-Fi communication protocol; 5G Wi-Fi is not supported. If your network has no password, leave the field blank.
- Wait for approximately 3 minutes for the device to connect.
- The device will be registered by eWeLink and added to your account, which may take 1-3 minutes.
- Name your device to complete the setup.
- If the device appears "Offline" in the eWeLink app, it may need a minute to connect to your router and server. Once the green LED is solid, the device is "Online". If it remains "Offline", close and reopen the eWeLink app.

3. App Features
- Wi-Fi Remote Control and Device State: Turn devices on/off by tapping their icons in the app. The device status is always displayed simultaneously in the app.
- View Real-time Power, Current, and Voltage: Access the device control interface to view the real-time power (W), current (A), and voltage (V) of appliances connected to the Pow R2.
- Calculate Energy Consumption: Tap "Statistics" to start measuring energy consumption. Tap "END" to stop and view the consumption during that period.
- View Daily and Monthly Energy Consumption: Tap the icon indicated by a red arrow to view up to 100 days of energy consumption history, including daily and monthly graphs and cost. You can adjust the cost unit price in the "Device Setting" within the device control interface.
- Overload Protection System (OPS): Tap "OPS" to set threshold values for real-time minimum power, maximum power, current, and voltage. If an appliance exceeds these set thresholds, the device will automatically turn off to prevent overload.
- Download Energy Consumption History: Tap "Download" to instantly download your energy consumption history to your phone. Note: This feature is available on Android but not on iOS due to file management system limitations.
- Share Control: The device owner can share control of devices with other eWeLink accounts. Both users must be online on eWeLink for the invitation to be received and accepted. To share, tap "Share", enter the eWeLink account (phone number or email), select timer permissions (edit/delete/change/enable), and tap "Next". The recipient will receive an invitation; upon acceptance, the device is shared.
- Timing: The device supports up to 8 enabled single, repeat, or countdown timing tasks.

9. Scene/Smart Scene
Scenes allow for the automatic triggering of device on/off actions. Only the device owner can create scenes, and scenes cannot be shared. Scene settings are accessible from the upper right corner of the Device List. You can configure scenes or smart scenes to automate device operations.
Users should select "Click to execute" as the condition, add existing devices, name the scene, and save it.
10. Security Mechanism
Each device has a unique owner. To add a device to another account, it must first be deleted from the current account.
