The device will auto-search and connect to smart home devices around you.

- If there is no password, leave it blank.
- Note: eWeLink only supports 2.4G WiFi; 5G-WiFi is not supported.
Step 5: Name the Device

Device Status: The device may appear "Offline" on eWeLink initially as it needs about 1 minute to connect to your router and the server. When the green LED is on, the device is "Online". If eWeLink still shows "Offline", please close and re-open the eWeLink app.
4. App Features
1. WiFi Remote Control and Device State
Turn devices on/off by tapping on their icons in the app. If you have connected two devices, you can tap on the corresponding device icon to control each one independently. The device state is always simultaneously displayed on the app.
2. Share Control ?
The owner can share devices with other eWeLink accounts. For sharing to be successful, both the owner and the recipient should be online on eWeLink. If the target account is not online, they will not receive the invitation message.
How to Share: Firstly, click "Share". Input the eWeLink account (phone number or email address) you wish to share with. Select the desired permissions (edit/delete/change/enable), then click "Next". The other account will receive an invitation message. Click "Accept" to complete the sharing; the other user will then have access to control the device.
3. Timing ⏰
Support for up to 8 enabled single/repeat/countdown timing schedules per device. Note that this device does not support loop (cycle) timers; only 1-gang devices support this feature. Preset timers can function even when the network is unavailable, provided the device remains powered on.
4. Scene/Smart Scene
Scenes allow you to trigger on/off actions for your devices automatically. Scene Settings are located in the upper right corner of the Device List. You can set up scenes or smart scenes to control your devices.
Users should select "Click to execute" in the condition, add different existing devices, name the scene, and save it.
5. Set Default Device State ⚙️
Navigate to Device Settings to configure the default device state upon power restoration (e.g., on, off, or maintain previous state).
6. Security Mechanism
Each device is linked to one owner. Other users cannot add devices that have already been added. If you wish to transfer ownership, delete the device from the current account first.
7. Update
The device will auto-remind you of new firmware or version updates. Please update as soon as possible.
Note: This model does not support desktop widgets on Android phones.
5. Problems and Solutions
Read the detailed FAQ on the Itead Smart Home Forum. If the following answers do not resolve your problem, please submit feedback on eWeLink.
1. My device has added successfully but stays "Offline".
Answers: The newly added device requires 1-2 minutes to connect to your router and the Internet. If it remains offline for an extended period, diagnose the issue based on the green LED status:
- 1.1. Green LED quickly blinks one time and repeats: Device failed to connect to the router. Possible reasons include an incorrect WiFi password or the device being too far from the router, causing a weak WiFi signal. The device cannot be added to a 5G-WiFi router; only 2.4G-WiFi is compatible. Ensure your router is MAC-open.
- 1.2. Green LED slowly blinks one time and repeats: Device has connected to the router and server but failed to be added to the device list. Power cycle the device, and if it still does not work, try adding the device again.
- 1.3. Green LED quickly blinks twice and repeats: Device has connected to the router but failed to connect to the server. Please confirm your WiFi router is functioning normally.
2. Why can't the APP find the device in pairing status?
Answers: This is likely due to your phone's cache. Please close your phone's WLAN connection, wait for a minute, then reopen it. Simultaneously, power off the device if possible, then power it up and try again.
3. My WiFi is expired, can I connect the devices to LAN?
Answers: Currently, this product does not support LAN connections or direct connection to a hotspot. It must connect to a WiFi router.
4. The green LED stays off, even if the device is powered on. Pressing the button does not work.
Answers: The circuit may be broken. Please send the device back for testing. Return shipping postage and packaging will be at the buyer's expense. If the device is damaged by the buyer, they will bear the extra repair cost.
5. Why did I fail to create a desktop widget for this device on an Android phone?
Answer: Sorry. Our app does not currently support widgets for Sonoff Dual.
6. Why do I fail to share my devices to other accounts?
If the message "User non-exist" appears, it means your account and the other accounts you wish to share with are connected to servers on different continents. Only accounts connected to the same server can be shared successfully. Please submit feedback on eWeLink, remembering to include your account and the account you are trying to share with.
