5. Problems and Solutions
If the following answers do not resolve your issue, please submit feedback via the eWeLink app.
-
My device has added successfully but stays "Offline".
Answer: The newly added device requires 1-2 minutes to connect to your router and the internet. If it remains offline for an extended period, check the green LED status:
- 1.1. Green LED quickly blinks once and repeats: The device failed to connect to the router. This could be due to an incorrect Wi-Fi password, the device being too far from the router causing a weak signal, or attempting to connect to a 5G-WiFi network (only 2.4G-WiFi is supported). Ensure your router is MAC-open.
- 1.2. Green LED slowly blinks once and repeats: The device connected to the router and server but failed to be added to the device list. Power cycle the device, and if the issue persists, try adding it again.
- 1.3. Green LED quickly blinks twice and repeats: The device connected to the router but failed to connect to the server. Verify that your Wi-Fi router is functioning normally.
-
Why can't the APP find the device during pairing?
Answer: This is often due to your phone's cache. Try closing your phone's WLAN, waiting a minute, and then reopening it. Simultaneously, power off the Sonoff Pow device if possible, then power it back on and attempt pairing again.
-
My WiFi is expired, can I connect the devices to LAN?
Answer: Currently, this product does not support LAN connections or connecting to a hotspot. It must connect to a Wi-Fi router.
-
The green LED stays off, even when the device is powered on, and the device does not work.
Answer: The circuit may be broken. Please send the device back for testing. Return shipping postage and packaging costs will be at the buyer's expense. If the device is damaged by the buyer, they will also bear the extra repair cost.
