After opening the package, please confirm whether the recorder is in good condition and whether the accessories are complete.

Language Setting Mode:

1. Press MODE/OK to enter Language Setting Mode.

2. White line frame indicates the selected function.

Note: Language identification corresponds to the selected language. The number of language choices depends on the actual model.

Mobile Phone APP Installation and Operation Instructions

WiFi APP is a mobile phone control software used with Vsysto DVR device. This software is connected to the DVR device via Wi-Fi, allowing direct preview and playback of video on the mobile phone. It enables easy viewing of camera documents, settings, and other operations on the mobile phone screen, offering a new experience compared to traditional cameras.

App Download: Scan the QR codes provided for Android and Apple users to download the App.

Conditions of use and product association:

  1. Smart terminal with Android 5.0 or higher or Apple terminal.
  2. Purchase a recorder terminal device that uses the Vsysto design scheme and connect the mobile phone WiFi to the camera correctly.

DVR WiFi Default Name: MotoDV_XXX

Default password: 1234567890

Note: To ensure the normal use of APP functions, please update the APP to the latest version in time.

Time of Synchronous DVR

After WiFi connection between the mobile phone and the DVR, open the APP. The time of the mobile phone and the DVR will be synchronized when “Instruction succeeded” is prompted.

Live Preview (video/photo)

After connecting the DVR WiFi with a mobile phone, open the APP and click "Connect Device" to enter the video preview status. In this status, you can control the DVR to record and take photos. If a rear camera is connected, click [switch camera icon] to switch between front and rear camera images. Click [fullscreen icon] to switch to full-screen display.

The app interface shows a preview screen with options to "Enter Recorder", "Record", and "Take Pictures". It also displays connection status and device information.

Browse DVR Files

Click [Online icon] to browse files in the DVR memory card.

Replay the DVR Files

In the "Online" option of the DVR file interface, click the desired file to replay. Click [switch camera icon] on the upper left to switch between front (F) and rear (R) camera files.

Download or Delete DVR Files

In the "Online" option, click "Edit" to select files for download or deletion. Then click "Save" or "Delete" as needed.

The interface shows a list of recorded files with timestamps and sizes. A download progress indicator is also displayed.

Local Files Management

Click [Local icon] to enter the browsing interface for local files stored on the mobile phone. The operation is similar to the online interface.

DVR Parameter Setting

Click the [Setup icon] to enter the parameter setting interface of the DVR within the APP. Here you can set parameters such as the WiFi name and password (Set SSID).

The settings screen displays options like Looping Video, Sound Record, GST, Reset Camera, Format SD Card, Set SSID, privacy policy, and service agreement. It also shows Firmware Version and APP Version.

Quick Installation Guide

Preliminary Test

  1. Connect Camera 1 & 2 to the DVR host.
  2. Connect to a power bank or USB adapter using the special USB power cable for a quick test before installation.
  3. Proceed with installation if the test is successful.

Instructions for the 12V→5V power module:

Note: THE DVR WILL BE BURNED OUT WHEN OUTPUT OVER 5V.

Quick Installation Guide

  1. Locate proper places to fix the front & rear cameras, wired controller (optional), GPS tracker (optional), and main unit (usually under the seat).
  2. Plan the path for camera cables, wired controller cable, GPS tracker cable, and power cable before installation.
  3. Fix and connect these parts using 3M tape, screws, or cable ties in their proper places.
  4. Power Module Connection:
    • Normal power module: Connect the red wire to the battery positive, black wire to the battery negative, and yellow wire to the 12V port controlled by the key ignition (ACC port).
    • Smart power module: Same connection as the normal one, but disconnect the “U” terminal cable from the power module before fixing it to the battery well to prevent damage to the DVR from unsteady power supply.
  5. Motorcycle Installation Notes:
    • Different motorcycles may have different installation methods, and different DVR models may have different cable connection definitions.
    • The position of the main unit and lens cable should be kept away from high-voltage circuits like xenon lamps, ignition plugs, etc.
    • If your motorcycle has a traditional carburetor system, try changing to a suitable R-value ignition plug if you encounter interference phenomena.

Quick Adjustment

  1. Release the lens cap, view the screen, and rotate the lens body to adjust the horizontal view angle.
  2. Power Module Operation:
    • Normal power module: The DVR turns on/off with the engine.
    • Smart power module: The DVR turns on with engine start and turns off 3 minutes after engine flameout.

Note on Screw Nut: Screw the nut only when the cable is connected, do not twist the cable or the connector.

Extension Cable Connection: The concave and convex bayonets of the joint must match correctly.

Installation Recommendation: It is recommended to install the extension cable first, then connect the main unit and camera separately for easier installation. If the distance between the main unit and the camera is less than 0.5 meters, it is recommended not to use the camera extension cable (keep it for future needs).

Mounting Cameras:

Battery Power Cable (optional)

Connection: Connect the red wire to the battery anode, and the black wire to the battery cathode. Before connecting the "U" shape terminal cable to the power module, ensure correct connection to avoid damage from unsteady voltage.

Mounting: Fix the power module to a proper place on your motorcycle using the double-sided foam tape. The unit is IP65 rainproof.

ACC Power Cable (optional)

Connection: Connect the red wire to the battery anode, the black wire to the battery cathode, and the yellow wire to a 12V wire controlled by your key.

Mounting: Fix the wired controller to a proper place on your motorcycle using the double-sided foam tape. The unit is IP65 rainproof.

Wired Controller

Wired controller indicator light description:

Note: Files generated by the wired controller will be named with "KEY".

Mounting: Fix the wired controller to a proper place on your motorcycle using the double-sided foam tape. Please keep the extension cable in case you need it someday. The unit is IP65 rainproof.

GPS module (optional)

Connection: Connect to the red connector of the power module and the red connector of the DVR.

Mounting: Fix the GPS module to a proper place on your motorcycle with double-sided tape. Ensure the "GPS" icon faces the sky directly without any barrier to avoid signal shielding.

The unit is IP65 rainproof.

Troubleshooting

Scenes Malfunction Phenomenon Cause/Solution
Startup Process Cannot startup 1. Use the USB power cable to test startup. 2. Do not insert the card, do not connect cameras, and test startup. If it still doesn't turn on, contact customer service.
No recording when start up Check TF card condition. Format or replace the TF card.
Image upside down Check if the camera is installed upside down.
Water ripple Check if the installation location is stable. The picture may flicker or show water ripples if the location is not stable.
Recording Process Cameras have no image Swap front and rear cameras to determine if it's a camera or main unit problem.
Video blurred Check the camera for dirt and fingerprints.
Foggy Wipe the camera with a dust-free cloth before recording.
Wrong recording time 1. Manually set the date and time in menu settings or connect to WiFi to update time via the APP. 2. If the DVR has GPS, it will update time after GPS positioning. Check the time zone setting if the GPS time differs from the current time.
The display is always on / Rest screen 1. By default, the DVR screen shuts down after 1 minute. 2. To keep the screen always on, find the "turn off screen automatically" option in menu settings and set it to off.
Can't find WiFi Check if WiFi is turned off in the menu setting interface.
WIFI Connection Process WiFi password is incorrect Find the reset system in settings to restore factory settings. Default password is 1234567890.
WiFi connection failed Turn off the mobile phone's WiFi, then turn it on and reconnect.
WIFI has been connected to the APP, but there is no image, or the command failed For Android, turn off WiFi helper and 4G network. Reconnect to WIFI.
Installation Process Installation, wiring, fixed cameras 1. Keep camera cables away from the engine and high-voltage packages. 2. Install front and rear cameras in a strong location with minimal vibration.
ACC power cable installation Connect red wire to battery positive, black wire to battery negative, and yellow wire to the ACC controlled by key (usually below the lock). If you cannot find it, consult a repair shop.
GPS module installation Place the GPS module in an open location (front or rear of the vehicle) with the "GPS" icon facing the sky. Ensure the installation position is not close to cameras.
Wired controller installation Install near the handlebar of the motorcycle for convenient observation of video recording status and operation of the wired controller.
