Your guide to wearing, pairing, and controlling your TOZO NC9 Plus earbuds.

How to Wear Your TOZO Earbuds

Proper fit ensures optimal sound and noise cancellation. Follow these steps:

  1. Step 1: Ensure the ear cap is pointing downward, then gently place the earbuds into your ear.
  2. Step 2: Rotate the earbuds backward towards the auricle side of your ear to achieve a snug and secure fit.

Incorrect wearing: The ear cap facing upwards is the wrong way to wear the earbuds and will result in a poor fit and sound quality.

How to Pair

TWS Auto Pairing

The TOZO NC9 Plus earbuds are designed for easy automatic pairing:

  1. Open the charging case. The earbuds will power on automatically and connect to each other within 10 seconds.
  2. If the earbud is fully charged, a blue light will flash for 5 seconds and then disappear. If not fully charged, a red light will remain until full charge.
  3. On your phone, search for the Bluetooth pairing name [TOZO-NC9 Plus] and select it to connect.

Reset Procedure

If you experience issues such as only one earbud working or pairing failures, follow these steps to reset your earbuds:

  1. Delete all existing TOZO-NC9 Plus records from your phone's Bluetooth settings, then turn off Bluetooth on your phone.
  2. Take the earbuds out of the charging case. Press and hold the touch panel on both earbuds for 5 seconds until red lights appear to turn them off.
  3. Continue holding the MFB (Multi-Function Button) Touch Panel on each earbud for another 5 seconds until the blue light turns on and off. Then, quickly click the MFB Touch Panel on each earbud twice. The reset process is complete when a purple light appears for 1 second, followed by both earbuds flashing red and blue alternately.

NOTE: If you encounter a "[Connection Unsuccessful]" message, delete all historical records of [TOZO-NC9 Plus] from your devices and attempt the pairing process again.

Earbud Controls

The TOZO NC9 Plus earbuds feature intuitive touch controls. The functions are generally mirrored between the left and right earbuds, with some specific differences for navigation and call management.

Left Earbud Controls

Power On/Off

Hold: Pick up earbuds from the battery case to power on automatically. Place earbuds into the battery case to power off and charge automatically. Alternatively, press and hold the earbud to manually power on/off.

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) / Transparency Mode

1x Tap: Toggle between Active Noise Cancellation Mode, Transparency Mode, and Active Noise Cancellation Mode Off.

Previous Track

2x Tap: Play the previous audio track.

End Call

Hold: End an ongoing phone call.

Volume Adjustment

Hold: Adjust the volume. Continue holding to increase or decrease volume gradually.

Accept Call

1x Tap: Accept an incoming phone call.

Reject Call

Hold: Reject an incoming phone call.

Voice Assistant

3x Tap: Activate your mobile phone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant, Baidu), depending on your device.

Right Earbud Controls

Power On/Off

Hold: Pick up earbuds from the battery case to power on automatically. Place earbuds into the battery case to power off and charge automatically. Alternatively, press and hold the earbud to manually power on/off.

Play/Pause

1x Tap: Play or pause audio playback.

Next Track

2x Tap: Play the next audio track.

Accept Call

1x Tap: Accept an incoming phone call.

End Call

Hold: End an ongoing phone call.

Volume Adjustment

Hold: Adjust the volume. Continue holding to increase or decrease volume gradually.

Reject Call

Hold: Reject an incoming phone call.

Voice Assistant

3x Tap: Activate your mobile phone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant, Baidu), depending on your device.
