Assembly & Installation Instructions

  1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included as shown in the above illustration.
  2. Turn off power

Before you start the installation, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.

    • Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. Place the main power switch in the "[power-off symbol]" position.
    • Place the wall switch in the "[power-off symbol]" position.
  3. Unscrew hex nut (G) and cap nut (H) from single bar (C).
  4. Adjust the length of cords (H) to achieve the desired height of the mounted fixture.

    • Use Allen wrench (M) to unscrew the screws in strain reliefs (F), carefully pull and push cords (I) through canopy (E) and strain reliefs (F) to lengthen or shorten the length of cords (I).
    • Once the desired height of fixture is achieved, carefully tighten the screws till snug.

Diagram illustrating the adjustment of cord lengths. It shows the use of an Allen wrench (M) to loosen screws in strain reliefs (F), allowing cords (I) to be pulled through the canopy (E) and strain reliefs (F) to set the desired fixture height.

  5. Secure single bar (C) to the outlet box with mounting screws (B).

NOTE: the side of single bar (C) marked "GND" [ground symbol] must face out.

Diagram showing the single bar (C) being attached to the outlet box using mounting screws (B). The side of the single bar marked 'GND' [ground symbol] is oriented to face outwards.

  6. Make wire connections.

Connect wires as below wires connection shown. REFER TO THE FOLLOWING CHARTS, NEVER CONNECT OTHER WIRES TO GROUND WIRES.

Connect ground wires according to the below chart

Diagrams illustrating ground wire connections. Chart A shows the fixture ground wire connecting to the outlet box ground wire via a green ground screw on the single bar (C), with dimples on the bar. Chart B shows the fixture ground wire connecting to the outlet box ground wire via a green ground screw and a cupped washer on the single bar (C).

Connect wires according to the below chart

Chart detailing wire connections. It specifies connecting the Black or Red Supply Wire to the Black wire of the fixture, which can be a parallel cord (round & smooth), or a clear, brown, gold, or black wire without a tracer, or an insulated wire with a copper conductor. The White Supply Wire connects to the White wire of the fixture, which can be a parallel cord (square & ridged), or a clear, brown, gold, or black wire with a tracer, or an insulated wire with a silver conductor. A note clarifies that for parallel wires (SPT I & SPT II), the neutral wire is square-shaped or ridged, and the other wire will be round or smooth.

  7. Twist wires together with plastic wire connector (A) until tightly joined, and wrap each connector with approved electrical tape for a more secure connection, then carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.

Raise canopy (E) to the ceiling and secure canopy (E) in place by tightening hex nut (G) and cap nut (H) onto the preassembled threaded nipple on single bar (C).

NOTE: The canopy (E) should be snug against the ceiling and cap nut (H). If not, adjust the threaded length of the preassembled threaded nipple on single bar (C) by unscrewing the preassembled hex nut and then screwing the pre-assembled threaded nipple in or out of single bar (C) until the secure length is achieved. Tighten the preassembled hex nut and back to step 7.

Diagram showing the canopy (E) being raised to the ceiling and secured. Hex nut (G) and cap nut (H) are tightened onto the preassembled threaded nipple on the single bar (C). The diagram illustrates how to adjust the nipple length if the canopy is not snug against the ceiling.

  8. 1) Unscrew socket rings (L) from sockets (J). Carefully place glass shades (K) on sockets (J), then secure glass shades (K) with socket rings (L).

    2) Install bulbs (Not included) (Please do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended on the socket.)

Diagram illustrating the attachment of glass shades. It shows socket rings (L) being unscrewed from sockets (J), glass shades (K) being placed onto sockets (J), and then secured with socket rings (L). A space is indicated for bulb installation.

  9. Check everything is already installed properly, then you could turn on the light. Enjoy!
