4. The mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, strong enough, and at least 1/4” larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16" should be corrected as required.
5. Ensure the ceiling or wall can support the weight of the lamp before installation.
6. Verify your voltage is 120V. The maximum wattage per bulb is 40W.
7. Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances to prevent damage to the lamp's surface.
8. When replacing bulbs, turn off or unplug the lamp and wait until it is cool, as bulbs get hot quickly.
9. The safety instructions in this manual are not exhaustive and may not cover all possible conditions. Common sense, caution, and care must be used with any electrical products.

Assembly & Installation Instructions
Step 1: Unpack and Inspect
Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included as shown in the illustration.
Step 2: Turn Off Power
Before starting the installation, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
▶️ Go to the main fuse or circuit breaker box in your home. Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
▶️ Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.
Step 3: Prepare Mounting Plate
Unscrew ball knobs (G) from canopy (E) then gently remove mounting plate assembly (A).
Diagram showing the canopy (E) with ball knobs (G) being removed, and the mounting plate assembly (A) detached.
Step 4: Adjust Cord Length
Adjust the length of cord (H) to achieve the desired height of the mounted fixture.
1. Use Allen wrench (M) to unscrew the screw in strain relief (F). Carefully pull and push cord (H) through canopy (E) and strain relief (F) to lengthen or shorten the length of cord (H).
2. Once the desired height is achieved, carefully tighten the screw till snug.
NOTE: To prevent cord (H) from slipping out of canopy (E), make an overhand knot of cord (H).
Diagram illustrating the process of adjusting the cord (H) length using the Allen wrench (M) and strain relief (F) on the canopy (E).
Step 5: Prepare Fixture Wires
If needed, shorten the extra length of the fixture wires from cord (H) so that they are all at least 6 inches (152.4 mm) long above canopy (E) within the outlet box.
Step 6: Mount the Fixture Plate
Carefully pass supply wires through mounting plate assembly (A). Secure mounting plate assembly (A) to the outlet box with mounting screws (D).
NOTE: The side of mounting plate (A) marked "GND" must face out.
Diagram showing the mounting plate assembly (A) being attached to the outlet box using mounting screws (D), with the "GND" marking oriented outwards.
Step 7: Make Wire Connections
Connect wires as shown in the following charts. NEVER connect other wires to ground wires.
Connect Ground Wires:
Diagram illustrating ground wire connections: Outlet box ground wire connects to the green ground screw on the mounting plate assembly (A), and the fixture ground wire connects to the same green ground screw, often with a washer and screw.
Connect Supply Wires:
Connect Black or Red Supply Wire to: | Connect White Supply Wire to: |
---|---|
Black (Parallel cord: round & smooth) Clear, Brown, Gold or Black without tracer Insulated wire (other than green) with copper conductor | White (Parallel cord: square & ridged) Clear, Brown, Gold or Black with tracer Insulated wire (other than green) with silver conductor |
Note: When parallel wires (SPT I & SPT II) are used, the neutral wire is square shaped or ridged, and the other wire will be round or smooth.

Step 8: Secure the Canopy
Fix canopy (E) to mounting plate assembly (A) and secure with the previously removed ball knobs (G).
Note: Canopy (E) should be snug against the ceiling and ball knobs (G). If not, adjust the threaded length of the pre-assembled mounting screws on mounting plate assembly (A):▶️ First, unscrew the pre-assembled hex nuts.▶️ Then, screw the pre-assembled mounting screws in or out of mounting plate (A).▶️ When the secure length is achieved, tighten the pre-assembled hex nuts and return to step 8.

Step 9: Install Stem, Bulb, and Shade
1. Screw stem (I) onto the top of cover (J).
2. Install the bulb (Not included). Please do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended on the socket.
3. Carefully screw glass shade (L) onto socket (K).
Diagram illustrating the final assembly steps: screwing the stem (I) onto the cover (J), inserting the bulb (not shown), and attaching the glass shade (L) to the socket (K).
Step 10: Final Check and Power On
Check that everything is installed properly, then you can turn on the light. Enjoy!
