ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
ITEM NO. :T5370DU
Diagram Description
The diagram illustrates the wiring and assembly of a pendant light fixture connected to a ceiling outlet box. The outlet box is shown with connections for Ground Wire, Live Wire, and Neutral Wire. The pendant light fixture connects to these circuit wires using wire nuts (D). Specifically, the fixture's black wire connects to the Live Wire, the white fixture wire connects to the Neutral Wire, and the ground fixture wire connects to the Ground Wire. Components labeled A, B, C, and D represent the wiring connections and hardware. The fixture attaches to the outlet box via a mounting plate (A) secured by screws (B), with adjustable bolts (C) that can be screwed in or unscrewed from the junction box to set the correct length. The canopy (E) is attached to the mounting plate (A) using ball nuts (F). The lamp shade (G) is placed onto the socket and secured with a socket ring (H). Finally, a bulb (J) is screwed into the lamp holder.
Assembly Steps
- Install the mounting plate (A) on the outlet box using the screws (B).
- Loosen the hex nuts around the bolts (C) and screw in or unscrew the bolts from the junction box to achieve the correct length for installation.
- Connect the fixture wire to the circuit wire using the wire nuts (D). Match the black fixture wire to the live wire, the white fixture wire to the neutral wire, and the ground fixture wire to the ground wire. Twist the wire nuts securely to join the wires. Wrap the wire nuts with insulated rubber tape for safety.
- Attach the canopy (E) to the mounting plate (A) using the ball nuts (F).
- Place the lamp shade (G) onto the socket and secure it with the socket ring (H).
- Screw the bulb (J) into the lamp holder.
