Bertazzoni Refrigerator Installation Guide
This document outlines the installation process for the Bertazzoni refrigerator, focusing on water line and electrical connections, as well as required clearances.
Water Line Installation Kits
Water line installation kits are available at extra cost from your dealer.
Connecting the Water Valve
To connect the water supply line:
- Connect the water supply line to the water valve, ensuring an accessible shutoff valve is in place.
- Connect the water line to the refrigerator using the provided installation kit. The kit includes one water tube and a connector. A second water tube is not supplied.
- Connect the first water tube [2] into the corresponding hole of the water connector [1].
Electrical Connection
For a safe and proper installation, follow these electrical guidelines:
- A properly grounded electrical receptacle should be installed.
- It is recommended to use a separate circuit breaker that services only this appliance.
- Avoid using a multi-purpose socket with other electrical appliances.
Installation Clearances and Dimensions
Proper clearances are crucial for optimal refrigerator performance and door opening. Refer to the diagrams for specific measurements.

- Clearance on back: 1" or more
- Clearance on both sides: 1/8" or more
- Added clearance for door opening swing might be needed based on adjacent cabinetry or wall structure.
- To ensure proper door opening, the refrigerator must protrude 5" 1/2 from the side cabinets.
