The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within 1 year of purchase. Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, or accident, or with an altered/removed serial number, invalidates all claims. Damage to property during installation is the sole responsibility of the end user.

Parts List

Check the parts to make sure you have all the parts for this model before assembling the swing.

Assembly Instructions

WARNING: FALL HAZARD: Never use the swing without the base. Babies may suffer skull fractures falling while in and from swing if it tips over.

To Assemble Base Tubes

  1. Place the base tubes in the mechanism set. Ensure the pin fits right into place (See Figure 1).

(Figure 1 shows base tubes being inserted into the mechanism set.)

To Assemble Support Frame

  1. Place the support frame on the top slot of the mechanism set. Ensure you hear a "click" sound when installed (See Figure 2).

(Figure 2 shows the support frame being attached to the mechanism set.)

To Assemble Seat Tube

  1. Insert the seat tube into the slots on the support frame facing forward. Ensure you hear a "click" sound when installed (See Figure 3).

(Figure 3 illustrates inserting the seat tube into the support frame.)

To Assemble Connection Tube

  1. Insert the connection tubes into the other seat tube separately. Ensure you hear a "click" sound when installed (See Figure 3).

(Figure 4 shows connection tubes being inserted into the seat tube.)

To Assemble Seat

  1. Insert the seat tube into the other connection tube (See Figure 5). Ensure you hear a "click" sound when installed.

(Figure 5 illustrates connecting the seat tube.)

To Assemble Seat Fabric

  1. Wrap the seat fabric around the frame and buckle up from the back. Make sure the seat fabric is secure (See Figure 6).

(Figure 6 shows the seat fabric being attached to the frame, with a note "Back of swing".)

To Assemble Toy Bar

  1. Attach the plastic clips of the toy bar on both sides of the frame (See Figure 7).

(Figure 7 shows the toy bar being attached to the sides of the swing frame.)

▲ WARNING: The toy bar is not a carrying handle.

To Attach Toys on Toy Bar

  1. To attach toys on the toy bar, wrap the toy strap around the hole on the toy bar and secure using the hook and loop (See Figure 8).

(Figure 8 shows how to attach toys using straps and hook-and-loop fasteners.)

How to Use

Seat Belt Installation Method

Disassemble the strap in the following sequence: Remove the hook and loop from the strap cover, press the round button in the middle of the buckle to release the belt, slide the left and right upper buckle out as shown.

Assemble the strap in the following sequence: Slide in the left and right upper buckle as shown, then insert them into the center buckle, cover the buckle with strap cover.

Power Supply

There are two ways of powering the portable swing: 4 C batteries, or the provided USB cable.

9) Use with batteries: Use a screwdriver to unscrew the battery cover. Install 4 C batteries (as shown in Figure 9). Replace battery cover and secure with screw. DO NOT use rechargeable batteries. Note: For battery mode only - DO NOT use USB Cable.

10) Use with provided USB cable: Insert the DC connector on the left rear of the mechanism base as shown (Figure 10). Insert the USB into a wall adapter (not included). Note: The USB adapter must be 5V 1A.

Button Functions

1) Power button (◯): Press it once to start swinging at level 1. Press it a second time for level 2. Press it a third time for level 3. Press it a fourth time to stop swinging (See Figure 11).

2) Music/Volume button (♫/△▽): Press it once to play music; the music plays in its own default mode. Press it again to switch the music. Double-press it to stop playing. Press and hold the button to adjust the volume (See Figure 11).

(Figure 11 shows the remote control with buttons labeled: Power, Music/Volume, Play previous song, Play next song, Increase volume, Decrease volume.)

Note: After plugging in, the music function can be worked individually, with the same control method.

Remote Control Usage

WARNING: This product contains a button or coin cell battery. ALWAYS KEEP new and used batteries OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

When using the product remote control for the first time, pull out the battery isolation film from the bottom of the remote and keep it safe. If you don't want to use it, insert the film back to the original position to avoid power consumption and extend the remote's life.

(Diagrams show how to remove and reinsert the battery isolation film.)

To change batteries, press the bottom left tab on the back of the remote, then pull the slot on the right.

NOTE: Use the remote control correctly: the panel should face upward when using the remote, and the infrared lamp should be facing the main base. The effective distance of the remote is within 4 meters at an Angle of 35°.

Remote function may not work if not used properly.

Disassembly and Carrying

Product Disassembly Instructions

To remove the seat, press the button as shown (See Figure 12a), then pull up the seat (See Figure 12b).

(Figures 12a and 12b illustrate pressing a button and lifting the seat to remove it.)

Removing Seat Fabric

To remove the seat fabric, unbuckle from the back of the frame, then pull fabric off the frame starting from the bottom (See Figure 13).

(Figure 13 shows unbuckling the seat fabric from the back and pulling it down.)

Carrying the Swing

To carry the swing properly, face the side of the swing and lift by the metal support tubes, placing one hand on each tube as shown in Figure 14.

Care and Maintenance

Seat Pad

Care: Wash Separately. Fasten all buckles before wash. Use mesh laundry bag.

Machine wash warm, gentle cycle / Do not bleach / Tumble Dry Low / Do not iron / Do not dryclean.

Care: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap. Disconnect the power supply before cleaning the base. Do not immerse the base in water.
