Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Mounting Plate and Canopy Attachment
Loosely thread screws (AA) and hex nuts (DD) onto the round mounting plate (CC). Adjust screw length according to the fixture canopy depth.
Attach this assembly to the outlet box using the mounting screws supplied with the outlet box (not provided). Tighten securely.
Lift the fixture and pass the screws (AA) through the two mounting holes in the fixture canopy. While holding the fixture, thread screws (AA) in or out of the round mounting plate (CC) until approximately 3/16" [5mm] of threads are showing. This ensures proper mounting.
Next, take the fixture down and tighten the hex nuts (DD) up against the round mounting plate (CC) to secure the adjusted screw length.
Diagram shows screws (AA) and hex nuts (DD) being threaded onto the round mounting plate (CC). It illustrates attaching the assembly to an outlet box and then adjusting the screws (AA) protruding from the canopy to achieve the correct length for mounting. The diagram also shows tightening the hex nuts (DD) against the mounting plate (CC) for adjustment.Step 2: Secure Fixture to Canopy
Pass the screws (AA) through the two holes in the canopy. Secure the fixture (A) to the screws (AA) using the two cylinder nuts (EE). Tighten securely.
Diagram shows the fixture (A) being held up, with screws (AA) passing through the canopy. Cylinder nuts (EE) are then used to secure the fixture to these screws.Step 3: Determine Hanging Length and Wire Connections
NOTE: Determine the hanging length of your fixture by adding or removing stems. The electrical and ground wire may also be cut to length.
DO NOT cut electrical or ground wires until this length is determined. Leave AT LEAST 6 inches MINIMUM of wire past the canopy (D) to allow for easy connections.
Once hanging length is determined, pass wires through four pipes (FF), pipes (GG), and nipples (HH), tightening one end of pipes to fixture (A) as you go to avoid twisting the wires. Pass wires up through the canopy and tighten the other end pipe to the canopy.
Diagram illustrates passing wires through multiple pipes (FF, GG) and nipples (HH) to achieve the desired hanging length. Wires are shown exiting the top of the canopy (D) after being threaded through the fixture components.Step 4: Electrical Connections
Strip approximately 3/8" of insulation from the electrical wire ends.
Using wire nuts (BB), connect the RIBBED fixture wire to the WHITE supply wire from the outlet box. Connect the SMOOTH fixture wire to the BLACK supply wire.
Connect the fixture ground wire and supply ground wire using a wire nut or by fastening to the ground screw on the round mounting plate.
Push all wire connections into the outlet box.
Diagram shows wire connections: ribbed fixture wire to white supply wire, smooth fixture wire to black supply wire, and ground wires connected together or to the ground screw. Wire nuts (BB) are used for connections.Step 5: Attach Candle Tubes and Lamp
Attach the candle tubes (B) and candle tubes (C) to the socket of fixture (A).
Thread the lamp (not included) into the fixture socket. Use a 40-watt MAX incandescent candelabra base lamp, SBCFL or SBLED.
Diagram shows candle tubes (B) and candle tubes (C) being attached to the sockets on the fixture (A). It also shows a lamp being screwed into a socket.Warranty and Exclusive Remedy
