Assembly Instructions
Step 1
Loosely thread the screws (AA) and the hex nuts (DD) onto the round mounting plate (CC) as shown. Adjust the screw length according to the fixture canopy depth.
Diagram Description: Shows the round mounting plate (CC) with screws (AA) and hex nuts (DD) threaded onto it. Arrows indicate adjustment of screws and nuts.
Step 2
Attach this assembly to the outlet box using the mounting screws supplied with the outlet box (not provided). Tighten securely.
Lift up the canopy (B) and pass the screws (AA) through the two mounting holes in the fixture canopy (B). While holding the canopy with one hand, thread the screws (AA) in or out of the round mounting plate (CC) until 3/16" [5mm] of threads are showing. This length should be sufficient to mount the fixture.
Next, take the canopy down and go back and tighten the hex nuts (DD) up against the round mounting plate (CC) to secure the correct thread length for mounting the fixture.
Diagram Description: Shows the assembled mounting plate and screws being attached to an electrical box. Another diagram illustrates lifting the canopy (B) and passing screws (AA) through its holes, then threading them into the mounting plate (CC). A separate "INCORRECT / CORRECT" diagram shows the proper protrusion of screws (AA) from the mounting plate (CC) (approx. 3/16" or 5mm) for attachment to the outlet box.
Step 3
Equally adjust the arms by carefully turning them out from the center.
Diagram Description: Shows a central fixture body with multiple arms extending outwards. Arrows indicate rotating the arms to adjust their position.
Step 4
Note: During this step, determine the hanging length of your fixture by adding or removing stems (FF, GG, HH), optionally cutting the electrical and ground wire to length. Do NOT cut electrical wires or ground wires until this overall length is determined. Leave at LEAST 6 inches MINIMUM of wire past the canopy to allow for easy connections in step 5.
Pass the wires through the one pipe (GG), nipple (HH) and four pipes (FF), tightening the pipes to fixture (A) as you go to avoid twisting the wires. Secure tightly. Pass wires through the canopy (B) and secure the canopy tightly to pipes (FF).
Diagram Description: Shows the fixture (A) with wires being passed through various pipes (FF, GG, HH) and the canopy (B). Arrows indicate the direction of wire and pipe assembly. The canopy (B) is shown being secured to the pipes (FF).
Step 5
Strip 3/8" of insulation from the electrical wire ends.
Using wire nuts (BB), connect the RIBBED fixture wire to the WHITE supply wire from the outlet box. Connect the SMOOTH fixture wire to the BLACK supply wire from the outlet box.
Connect the fixture ground wire and supply ground wire using a wire nut or by fastening to the ground screw on the round mounting plate.
Push all wire connections into the outlet box.
Diagram Description: Shows the wiring connections inside the canopy. Two wire nuts (BB) are used to connect fixture wires (Ribbed and Smooth) to supply wires (White and Black). A ground wire connection is also shown, either with a wire nut or to a ground screw.
Step 6
Pass the screws (AA) through the two holes in the canopy (B). Secure the fixture to the screws (AA) using the two cylinder nuts (EE) provided. Tighten securely in place.
Diagram Description: Shows the canopy (B) with screws (AA) passing through it. Cylinder nuts (EE) are shown being threaded onto the screws (AA) to secure the fixture.
Step 7
Thread the lamps (not included) into the fixture sockets. Use 60-watt MAX incandescent medium base lamp, SBCFL or SBLED. ?
Diagram Description: Shows the chandelier fixture with lamps being screwed into the sockets.
