Beghelli UP LED CT Emergency Lighting System
Product Overview
The Beghelli UP LED CT is an emergency lighting fixture designed for reliable performance in various settings. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, wiring, configuration, and operation.
Installation and Wiring
Section A: Mounting and IP Rating
The fixture is designed for easy mounting and offers IP40 protection in its standard configuration. For IP65 rated installations, specific IP65 caps must be used, ensuring the cable entry diameter is between 5-10mm.
Diagram A illustrates the mounting of the fixture and the IP rating.
Section B: Battery Connection
Connect the battery to the designated connector as shown in the diagram. Ensure correct polarity.
Diagram B shows the battery connection.
Section C & C1: IP65 Cap Installation
For IP65 protection, install the IP65 caps, ensuring the cable used is Ø 5-10mm.
Diagram C and C1 detail the installation of IP65 caps.
Section D: Wiring Configurations
The fixture supports different wiring configurations for autonomous (SA) and maintained (SE) emergency lighting, with options for manual setting or central control via the CableCom Connect unit (cod. 20151).
- Basic Setting (1h-3h) without App/Central: Allows for basic autonomy settings without external control.
- Wiring with Infinity Mode Deactivated: Standard wiring for emergency lighting.
- Wiring with Infinity Mode Activated: Enables advanced features when used with the CableCom Connect system.
Wiring Schematics:
- Schema 1.1 (SA - Autonomous): For standalone emergency operation.
- Schema 1.2 (SE - Maintained): For emergency operation where the light remains on during normal power.
- Schema 2.1 (SA-SE): For combined autonomous and maintained operation, entering emergency mode upon general or local power failure.
- Schema 2.2 (SA-SE): For combined operation, entering emergency mode upon general power failure.
Important Notes:
- Maximum 32 lamps can be connected.
- Do not connect other devices to the power cable/BUS (L+ N-).
- Ensure correct phase and neutral polarity.
- For central configuration, batteries must be sufficiently charged.
Diagram D illustrates various wiring configurations and connection terminals.
Configuration and Commands
The UP LED CT can be configured and controlled in several ways:
- AT (without APP and Central): Basic settings and local control via a jumper or device settings.
- AT + APP (B.connect): Configuration and control using the B.connect smartphone application.
- AT + CableCom Connect Central + APP: Advanced centralized control and configuration via the CableCom Connect unit and the B.connect app.
Autonomy Settings: The fixture supports autonomy durations of 1h, 1.5h, 2h, 3h, and 8h. These can be set locally or via the app/central unit.
SE/SA Setting: This setting, applicable to SA (Maintained) luminaires, determines the operational mode.
Infinity Mode: When activated, the N2 L2 terminals must be connected as per schemas 2.1 or 2.2. With Infinity mode active and wired correctly, the autonomy is infinite when the CableCom network is present.
App B.connect Usage:
- Download the B.connect app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Access the luminaire configuration through the "luminaire" menu.
Lamp Response:
- Fast flashing: Function executed.
- Slow flashing: Function not enabled.
- No flashing: Command not received.
Central CableCom Connect (cod. 20151): All configurations and commands can be sent remotely via the "nuBe" cloud.
Lamp Positioning for App Coverage: Ensure adequate proximity for the app to communicate with the lamp (e.g., within 50cm for strong light conditions).
Diagrams illustrate app usage and lamp positioning for communication.
Automatic Tests and LED Signals
Automatic Test Periodicity:
- Functional Test (30 sec): Every 28 days.
- Autonomy Test (1h): Every 26 weeks.
LED Signals:
- Fixed Green: Battery charged.
- Flashing Green: Battery charging.
- One Red Flash: Battery error duration.
- Two Red Flashes: Lighting LED error.
- Three Red Flashes: Battery disconnected.
Communication Opening from App:
- Remove and reapply power for less than 3 seconds to open communication.
- Communication remains open for 2 hours, indicated by an orange flashing LED.
- Functional Test and Functional STOP Test can be controlled via the B.connect App without opening communication.
Diagrams illustrate LED signals and app communication procedures.
