Product Model: Massimo 500 Soft Rear Window (MS-500-RW01)

Important Notice

Notice: Do not smoke inside the cab or expose the enclosure to direct flames. The cab is flammable.

Read these instructions thoroughly before opening and installing the Massimo 500 Soft Rear Window. Installation is best performed when the temperature is 70 degrees F. or warmer, as temperature affects the adhesive Velcro. If installing in cooler weather, store the adhesive Velcro at room temperature prior to installation.

Installation Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare for Installation

Carefully open the carton and remove the enclosure on a large, flat surface that is clean and free of dirt.

  2. Step 2: Check Parts

Verify the included parts against the following list:

    • Adhesive Velcro Hook Strips: 4 each (3 inches)
    • Adhesive Velcro Hook Strips: 1 each (40 inches)
    • 70" Para Cord: 2 each
    • Snap Screw Studs: 4 each
    • Cab Enclosure: 1 panel

If any parts are damaged or missing, contact customer service at (606) 845-7439.

  3. Step 3: Attach Side Velcro Straps

The sides of the Rear Window are secured by two Velcro straps on each side. Wrap one of the 3-inch adhesive Velcro strips around the roll cage. Then, wrap the double-sided Velcro around the adhesive strip to create a secure hold.

  4. Step 4: Install Top Bar Velcro

Apply the 40-inch adhesive Velcro strip along the top bar, running from side to side.

  5. Step 5: Secure Side Straps

Install the Velcro straps sewn to the sides of the enclosure at the top and bottom. You may need to temporarily remove the strap on the door to properly position the adhesive Velcro.

  6. Step 6: Snap Bottom Panel

Snap the bottom of the Rear Window to the plastic panels located behind the seats. To do this, raise the vehicle's bed and screw the snap studs into the plastic where the snaps on the Rear Window align. Snap the panel into place and then lower the bed.

  7. Step 7: Lace with Cords

Take the two 70-inch cords and lace the Rear Window to the roll cage. Tie the end of a cord to the top hole, wrap it around the bar, and bring it back through the top hole. Continue wrapping the cord down the bar, securing the end at the bottom. Melt the ends of the cords to prevent fraying.

Cleaning and Storage Recommendations

  1. Cleaning

Before removing the Cab for storage, ensure it is very clean to prevent scratching the window panels. Clean using a soft rag or sponge with a mild liquid detergent soap and warm water solution. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth or rag. Allow the Cab to dry thoroughly before attempting to roll it for storage.

  2. Storage

It is important to roll the Cab for storage rather than folding it, as folding can damage the windows. Carefully roll up the Cab similarly to how it was packed at the factory. On a large, clean, and flat surface, fold the doors over the rear panel first. Then, interleave the top and windshield over the doors. Begin rolling the Cab into a roll approximately 8 inches in diameter. Store the rolled Cab in its carton at normal room temperature. Avoid exposing the Cab to extreme hot or cold temperatures during storage.

  3. Maintenance Products

A special cleaner conditioner is available from Falcon Ridge to enhance the service life of the Cab Enclosure. Additional hook and loop sets can also be ordered if needed.

Thank you for your purchase!

Return Policy

Products must be returned within 30 days of the receipt date for any reason. To receive a full refund, the product must be packaged exactly as it was originally received from the factory.

Vinyl windows should not be folded when packaging for return or storage. Lay all windows on top of each other with the canvas folded in between, and place paper (if available) on both sides of the windows.

All returned products undergo inspection at the production facility and must be in unused, factory-new condition to qualify for a refund. A 25% restocking fee applies to returns.

To initiate a return from Falcon Ridge, call 606-845-7439 to obtain a return authorization number. Use the preferred shipping carrier (UPS) for returns, unless the item is defective, in which case the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Returns submitted without a return authorization number will incur a 20% restocking fee. If purchased from a Falcon Ridge distributor, consult their specific return policy.

Upon arrival at the facility, customer satisfaction teams inspect items to ensure they are unused and in factory-new condition. Note: All windshields must be returned with the original protective film intact. Do not remove the film if you intend to return the item, as refunds or replacements for windshields are processed only for items with original protective film or if the windshield is defective.

Items must be packaged in the original shipping carton to protect them during transit and ensure they arrive in new, resalable condition. Items that have been used, altered, or damaged are not eligible for a refund. All original contents, including instruction manuals, accessories, hardware, and Velcro, must be included in the return shipment. Only items in OEM factory-new condition will be approved.

Credit will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Outbound and return shipping costs are non-refundable. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for refund processing.
