Product Overview

This document provides installation instructions for the Resistex Miks LED downlight. The Miks downlight is designed for low luminance applications and offers adjustable orientation.

Installation Instructions

Preparation

• Never work on the luminaire when it is live (under voltage). ⚠️
• The installation must be performed by a qualified professional electrician in compliance with standards and regulations for electrical installations.
• Risk of electrostatic discharges (ESD Norm). Handle with precautions.
• Please observe the notes and steps described in the mounting instructions.

Mounting Steps

1. Step 1: Ceiling Cutout

   Create a circular cutout in the ceiling with a diameter of Ø69 mm (+/-1 mm).

2. Step 2: Insert Fixture

   Insert the Resistex Miks LED downlight fixture into the prepared ceiling cutout from below. An upward arrow indicates the insertion direction.

3. Step 3: Secure Fixture

   Rotate the fixture to secure it in place within the ceiling cutout.

4. Step 4: Wire Connection (Connector)

   Open the integrated connector on the fixture. Insert the live (L), neutral (N), and earth wires into the appropriate terminals. Ensure wires are properly stripped and inserted.

5. Step 5: Prepare Connector Closure

   Ensure all wires are correctly seated within the connector terminals.

6. Step 6: Close Connector

   Close the connector securely. A click indicates it is properly latched.

7. Step 7: Terminal Block Connections

   Connect the mains power supply wires to the fixture's terminal block: Live (L), Neutral (N), and Earth. The diagram shows the terminal layout.

8. Step 8: Final Fixture Placement

   The fixture is now installed and wired. Ensure it is flush with the ceiling.

9. Step 9: Wiring Verification

   Verify the wiring connections. A diagram shows correct (✔️) and incorrect (❌) connection methods, likely related to wire insulation or polarity.

10. Step 10: Final Installation View

    The Resistex Miks downlight is fully installed in the ceiling.
