Important Notes: The charger contains high-temperature protection. Unauthorized repairs are prohibited. Store the battery and charger in a safe, dry, well-ventilated place away from children and flammable materials. Do not charge outdoors to prevent accidents.

Warning: If you notice an unusual smell or if the battery/charger becomes excessively hot during charging, stop charging immediately and contact customer support.

2.4 Operation Instructions

Ensure all components are correctly installed and secured, the battery is sufficiently charged, and you are using appropriate riding safety gear.

  • Handlebar and Saddle Adjustment: Adjust to a comfortable height based on rider's height and riding style. Ensure the seatpost clamp and handlebar screws are fully tightened. The saddle height should not exceed the white safety line.

  • Protect electrical components from water. Avoid direct water contact with the charging port and wiring harnesses during cleaning.
  • When adjusting seatpost and stem height, ensure alignment markings are not visible for safety.
  • Unauthorized modifications to the bike (battery, wiring, lights, stereo) are prohibited.

Riding Safety: Adhere to all national and local traffic laws.

  • Riders under 16 years old are prohibited from using electric bikes.
  • Do not lend the bike to individuals with poor maneuvering skills.
  • Ride on non-motorized paths at speeds compliant with local regulations.
  • If carrying a passenger or cargo, follow relevant regulations.
  • Always wear an approved helmet and ensure straps are properly fastened.
  • Be aware of extended braking distances in wet or snowy conditions. Avoid riding in severe weather.
  • Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Do not ride one-handed or without holding the handlebars.
  • Wear bright, loose-fitting clothing that allows free movement. Avoid overly large cuffs. Wear athletic shoes, not high heels.

Riding Precautions:

  • Follow traffic rules.
  • Wear a helmet and follow safety guidelines.
  • Accelerate slowly after starting. Rapid acceleration can lead to loss of control.
  • Brake earlier in wet or snowy conditions. Ride cautiously to prevent falls.
  • Shift to a lower gear before stopping to prepare for the next ride.

General Precautions:

  • Do not touch live electrical parts (battery terminals, charging ports, charger plugs) with wet hands or conductive materials.

  • Do not leave the bike unused for extended periods, as this can degrade components.
  • Clean the frame with water and mild detergent. Do not disassemble or wash internal components to avoid short circuits.

Note: Bicycle servicing should only be performed by professionals. Contact customer support or an authorized service center if the bike malfunctions.

Pre-Ride Checks:

  1. After powering on, check indicator status and battery level.
  2. Inspect front and rear reflectors and headlight aim.
  3. Check the electric bike's audible signal (horn).
  4. Verify handlebar and seatpost tightness.
  5. Check brake function for smooth and proper operation. The rear light should illuminate when braking.
  6. Check tire pressure and inspect tires for damage, wear, or embedded objects.
  7. Ensure wheel nuts are tight and all reflectors are present and undamaged.

Pushing and Parking Precautions:

  1. Turn off the power before pushing the bike to prevent accidental acceleration.
  2. Assist mode can be used for uphill riding or carrying heavy loads.
  3. Park on a level surface, deploy the kickstand, and turn off the power.
  4. Perform regular maintenance and cleaning to keep the bike in optimal condition.

3.2 Self-Maintenance

General Vehicle Maintenance:

  • The bike is factory-adjusted. Contact the manufacturer or supplier if you have concerns.
  • Regularly check tire pressure.
  • Periodically inspect and adjust handlebars, stem, saddle, seatpost, axles, bottom bracket, chain, and wheels. Tighten any loose nuts and bolts.
  • Lubricate parts like front/rear/center axle bearings, fork mounts, and pedal bearings with 3# calcium-based grease every six months. Lubricate the chain, shift cables, and kickstand with 30# synthetic oil every two months.
  • Replace worn parts (brake pads, chains, tires) with identical specifications.

Motor Maintenance:

  • Do not open the sealed motor base or end caps.
  • Keep the motor clean. Use protective measures to prevent foreign objects, corrosive liquids, or gases from entering. Avoid hitting or overheating the motor housing.
  • The motor has an IPX5 water resistance rating. Do not use high-pressure water jets or submerge the motor in water. Water ingress into the hub motor can cause short circuits.

Battery Maintenance:

  • Lithium batteries have high capacity and long life, dependent on usage. Charge regularly and avoid prolonged storage without charging.
  • Fully charge the battery before first use. Recommended charging time is 6-8 hours, not exceeding 12 hours.
  • If the bike is stored for extended periods, charge the battery for at least two hours monthly to prevent deep discharge, which can cause irreparable damage.
  • DANGER: Do not tamper with old batteries. Dispose of them at designated recycling points.
  • WARNING: Keep batteries away from open flames or high temperatures. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Protect from direct sunlight in hot weather.
