User Manual

Introduction

Before using the cosmetic chair, please read these instructions carefully and follow the steps outlined below. Ensure all packaging materials are removed and the chair is in good working order. Place the chair in the desired location and connect the power plug to a suitable socket.

Warning: This appliance is not intended for use by children or inexperienced persons. Children should be supervised and must not play with the cosmetic chair.

Chair Operation

The cosmetic chair is adjusted using the included remote control, allowing you to regulate the chair's position. Each footrest can be adjusted independently, facilitating pedicure procedures.

Remote Control Functions:

  • 1. Press [Up Arrow] or [Down Arrow] to raise or lower the seat.
  • 2. Press [Up Arrow] or [Down Arrow] to adjust the backrest angle.
  • 3. Press [Up Arrow] or [Down Arrow] to adjust the footrest angle.
  • (Note: Buttons P1 and P2 are likely for saving and recalling preset positions.)

Assembly and Installation

Headrest Installation:

To install the headrest, slide it into the appropriate gap at the top of the backrest. Once positioned at the desired height, tighten the knob to secure it firmly. To remove, slightly loosen the knob, lower the headrest, and then tighten the knob.

Armrest Installation:

Slide the armrest into the opening located on the side of the backrest. The armrest should be securely fastened. Rotate it right or left to ensure it is correctly in place.

Footrest Adjustment:

Each footrest is adjusted independently using a lever located underneath. Pull the lever to raise or lower the footrest support. To extend the footrest, loosen the knob on the underside of the footrest, pull it out to the desired length, and then tighten the knob.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Always disconnect the unit from the electrical mains before cleaning.

To maintain the chair's surface in good condition, clean it regularly. Disinfect the chair after each use. A thorough disinfection is recommended monthly.

I. Metal and Plastic Surfaces:

Wipe metal and plastic surfaces, as well as control elements, with a damp cloth. A small brush can be useful for cleaning hard-to-reach areas. Avoid using excessive cleaning liquid. Subsequently, disinfect the unit with a suitable disinfectant.

II. Stainless Steel Surfaces:

Cleaning with a mild detergent solution is most suitable. Ammonia and most solvents can be used to remove stubborn stains. Avoid chlorine-based solvents.

III. Painted or Chrome-Plated Surfaces:

Do not use water jets (showers, high-pressure water guns) for cleaning. Do not clean in high temperatures or high humidity, and do not expose the unit to conditions that may lead to liquid contamination. Do not use solvents or acids for cleaning.

IV. Chair Surface:

Wipe the chair surface evenly with a special cleaner for leather, then wipe with a clean, soft cloth.

General Maintenance:

Before performing any maintenance, ensure the unit is disconnected from the electrical mains. Repairs should only be carried out by experienced and authorized personnel. Use only original, manufacturer-approved spare parts. Do not operate the chair or accessories if they are not functioning correctly. All maintenance and repair activities must be documented.

Safety Measures

  1. This unit is professional equipment intended for use in beauty salons. Operation by qualified beauty personnel is recommended to avoid undesirable consequences during treatment.
  2. The unit must not be disassembled, nor should attempts be made to use it for purposes other than those specified in these instructions. All service activities and repairs must be performed only by an authorized service technician (ACTIVESHOP Sp. z o.o.).
  3. Do not install or operate the unit near liquids, in wet areas, or with wet hands, to prevent liquids from entering the unit.
  4. Immediately disconnect the unit from the socket and contact the authorized service provided by ACTIVESHOP Sp. z o.o. in the following cases:
    • a) Liquid has entered the unit.
    • b) The unit emits a strange odor, smoke, or makes strange noises.
    • c) The power cable is damaged.
    • d) The unit has been dropped or its casing is damaged.
  5. Do not place any objects on the cables. Do not install the unit where someone might step on the power cable.
  6. For safety reasons, unplug the power cable from the socket each time you finish working with the unit.
  7. Do not insert anything into the unit's openings. If a foreign object enters an opening, unplug the unit and contact the distributor or manufacturer.
  8. Do not place the unit on an unstable trolley, shelf, or vehicle. The unit may be damaged if it falls.
  9. To ensure the fixed operating life of the unit, it is recommended to observe an interval of one minute before pressing the power button again (between switching on and off, and vice versa).
  10. The power supply must comply with the specifications indicated on the nameplate. Otherwise, there is a risk of improper functioning, damage, or even burning out of the unit.

Important Notes:

  • In case of damage to the power cable or other malfunctions, contact an authorized service center to avoid danger.
  • This unit can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and by persons with reduced physical or mental capabilities and lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have received instructions on safe use of the unit and understand the associated risks.
  • The unit is not intended for play by children. Do not allow children to play with the unit.
  • Do not leave the unit unattended when children or persons lacking sufficient knowledge of its use are nearby.
  • This electrical appliance is not a toy. Improper use or contact with the electrical unit can pose a risk to health or lead to death; therefore, the unit must be used and stored in a place inaccessible to children.

Disposal and Transport

Disposal of the Unit:

Dispose of used electrical appliances, accessories, and packaging at recycling centers in accordance with environmental protection regulations. Electrical appliances must not be disposed of in household waste bins. Follow the regulations for this type of equipment. In accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment, used electrical equipment must be collected separately and handed over to collection points or "ACTIVESHOP" Ltd. Used and old appliances contain fully recyclable components and should therefore be sent for reprocessing. They must be handed over to the respective collection points, as well as to "ACTIVESHOP" Ltd.

Storage and Transport:

The unit should be transported at temperatures between (-) 20 °C and (+) 50 °C, only in its original packaging. The unit should be stored in a well-ventilated area with relative humidity not exceeding 75%. Operating temperature: (+) 10 °C to (+) 40 °C. During storage and transport processes, the unit must not be thrown or dropped, exposed to mechanical impacts, or atmospheric influences.
