Removing the Remote Control
- Power off the chair and unplug it. ?
- Locate the remote control bracket on the left-hand side of the chair (Fig.1).
- Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the two screws that secure the remote control bracket to the power panel.
- Pull the remote control cables toward you to expose the cables, then disconnect the cables.
Installing the New Remote Control
Figure 1 illustrates the process: a close-up view of the remote control bracket attached to the chair's power panel, showing the location of the two screws and the cables to be disconnected and reconnected.
- Connect the new remote control cable to the corresponding power panel cable, then push the cables into the backrest.
- Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, replace the two remote control bracket screws.
- Plug in the chair and power it on.
- Verify that the new remote control is working properly.
