SUNDVIK Changing Table and Chest of Drawers Assembly Instructions

Place heaviest items in the lower drawer.

Tools Required

The following tools are recommended for assembly:

Screwdrivers (Phillips and flat-head)
Hammer
Drill with drill bits (Ø8mm, Ø3mm)

Assembly Steps

Step 1

Attach the base side panels to the front and back base rails using 4x screws [107271] and 4x dowels [101350].

Step 2

Insert 4x dowels [101350] and 4x screws [112614] into the designated holes on the main side panels. Attach 2x drawer runners (left and right) to each main side panel using 2x screws [100481] and 2x dowels [114613] per runner, ensuring correct orientation (L/R).

Step 3

Insert 8x dowels [101350] into the pre-drilled holes on the base frame.

Step 4

Connect the main side panels to the base frame. Use the pre-inserted dowels and secure with 4x screws [100347] per side.

Step 5

Insert 2x vertical support pieces into the designated slots on the base frame.

Step 6

Secure the vertical supports by inserting 2x cam locks [122332] and 2x cam bolts [109510].

Step 7

Slide the back panel into the grooves on the side and base panels.

Step 8

Secure the back panel by inserting 2x cam locks [122332] and 2x cam bolts [109510].

Step 9

Assemble drawer sides and back pieces using 2x dowels [101350] and 2x screws [101354] per drawer.

Step 10

Attach 2x drawer runners (left and right) to each drawer side using 2x screws [117616] and 2x cam locks [100823] per runner, ensuring correct orientation.

Step 11

Prepare drawer fronts by inserting dowels and screws.

Step 12

Connect drawer fronts to the assembled drawer boxes.

Step 13

Insert 4x dowels [101350] into the drawer fronts.

Step 14

Attach the remaining drawer runners to the main unit's side panels using screws and cam locks.

Step 15

Continue attaching drawer runners to the main unit.

Step 16

Secure drawer runners with cam locks [122332] and cam bolts [109510].

Step 17

Secure drawer runners with screws [109510].

Step 18

Assemble the top section frame by connecting the top section's side and front/back rails using dowels [101350] and screws [101354].

Step 19

Slide back panels into grooves and secure with screws.

Step 20

Connect side panels to the top section frame using 4x screws [100136] and 4x cam locks [120189].

Step 21

Connect the front support piece using 2x dowels [101350] and 2x cam locks [114613].

Step 22

Insert 4x dowels [101350] into the top section frame.

Step 23

Attach drawer runners to the top section using cam locks [122332].

Step 24

Insert 7x dowels [101354] into the top section.

Step 25

Place the top surface onto the assembled frame and secure with 6x screws [104323].

Step 26

Attach 2x hinges [10143360] to the changing table top.

Step 27

Attach the other side of the hinges to the main unit using 2x cam locks [152526] and 2x screws [10065533].

Step 28

Secure the changing table top mechanism by inserting 6x screws [100481].

Step 29

Attach the wall mounting bracket [119256] to the unit using 2x screws [109049] and 2x cam locks [100823].

Step 30

Carefully place the assembled top section onto the base unit.

Step 31

Secure the top section to the base using 6x cam locks [122332].

Step 32

Attach drawer runners to the top section using screws and cam locks.

Step 33

Continue attaching drawer runners to the top section.

Step 34

Secure drawer runners with 2x screws [100823] and 2x screws [109048].

Step 35

Attach the changing table mechanism components using 2x screws [100001] and 2x cam locks [105042].

Step 36

Assemble drawer sides and back using 4x dowels [123492].

Step 37

Attach drawer sides to the base using 4x dowels [101345].

Step 38

Attach drawer slides to the drawer sides using 4x cam locks [110630] and 4x cam locks [119030].

Step 39

Attach the drawer sides to the base structure.

Step 40

Continue attaching drawer sides.

Step 41

Secure drawer sides with 4x screws [145718].

Step 42

Attach drawer slides to the main unit using 4x cam locks [119030].

Step 43

Attach drawer slides to the drawer box using 6x screws [100347] and 6x screws [106698].

Step 44

Attach drawer knobs using 1x screw [119976] and 1x screw [100823] or [117616] for each knob.

Step 45

Ensure all parts are securely fastened. Remember to attach the furniture to the wall using the provided tip-over restraints to prevent serious injury or death. ⚠️
