System Overview
The audio system offers various functions including radio reception, CD playback, portable device connectivity, and Bluetooth phone integration.
Controls and Functions
- Power/Volume: The main power button turns the system on/off. Volume is adjusted by rotating the knob.
- Radio Functions:
- AM/FM: Selects the radio band.
- Seek Buttons (Forward/Back): Scan for the next/previous station or track. Holding the buttons initiates manual tuning or fast scanning.
- Station List: Displays a list of available stations, sortable by frequency, name, or category.
- Frequency Input: Allows direct entry of a radio frequency.
- Station Presets: Allows saving up to 6 stations per band.
- CD Player:
- CD Slot: For inserting CDs. Supports CDDA, MP3, WMA, and AAC formats.
- Track Selection: Navigate through tracks using seek buttons or the menu.
- Repeat/Shuffle: Options for continuous playback of a track or random playback of tracks.
- Portable Device Connectivity:
- USB Port: Connects USB drives (FAT/FAT32 format).
- AUX Input: 3.5mm auxiliary audio input.
- iPod/iPhone: Supports various iPod models.
- Bluetooth: Connects Bluetooth-enabled devices for audio streaming and hands-free calling.
- Bluetooth Phone System:
- Pairing: Connects a mobile phone to the system via Bluetooth.

- Radio Data System (RDS):

- Traffic/News (TA): Receives traffic and news broadcasts.
- Regionalisation (REG): Prioritizes local stations with stronger signals.
- Alternative Frequency (AF): Automatically retunes to a stronger signal on a different frequency for the same station.
- Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB):
- DAB Radio: Offers digital radio reception with more stations and better sound quality.
- DAB1/DAB2: Two groups for saving up to 20 stations each.
- Manual Tuning: Allows manual searching for DAB services.
- Service List: Displays all available services within a group.
- Audio Settings:
- Tone Control: Adjusts bass, treble, and subwoofer levels.
- Balance/Fade: Adjusts sound distribution between speakers.
- Sound Focus: Allows directing the sound to specific areas of the cabin.
- Surround Sound Options: Includes DPLIIx, DTS Neo:6, Meridian Trifield.
- DivX Video: Supports playback of DivX video files. Requires registration for DivX VOD content.
Important Notes
- Avoid prolonged exposure to loud sounds to prevent hearing damage.
- The audio system may operate with the ignition off, but will automatically shut down when the ignition is turned off.
- Ensure mobile phones are securely fastened and be aware of potential interference with medical devices like pacemakers.
