Digital Radio (DAB)
DAB radio offers a wider selection of stations. Stations are broadcast in groups, and each group can contain multiple services. DAB signals are transmitted by regional and local transmitters.
DAB Tuning and Presets: Use the RADIO button (7) to select DAB1 or DAB2. Each group allows saving up to 10 presets using the keypad (5). Use the seek buttons (8, 9) to find available groups and services. If a service is not found, 'No Reception' may appear.
Manual Tuning (DAB): Press and hold the seek buttons (8 or 9) for about 3 seconds to enter Manual Tuning mode. Use the seek buttons to cycle through services and groups. Press OK to select a service.
Service List: Navigate the menu to view a list of all available services within the current group.
ServiceLink: This option, when enabled, allows for automatic switching to a partner service in another region or to an FM service if the DAB signal weakens. It is recommended to disable ServiceLink during manual tuning or group searching.
DAB Messages
Searching...: Appears when the radio is tuning to a group or preset station.
No Reception: Appears if a selected service cannot be received at the current location.
Serv00, Serv01, etc.: May appear if the radio receives signals but cannot identify service names.
Media Playback
CD Playback
The system plays standard audio CDs (CDDA) and MP3, WMA, and AAC files. Use 12 cm (4.7 inch) high-quality, non-deformed discs. Avoid discs with paper labels or DVDPlus formats.

Fuel and Refueling
General Precautions
- Do not smoke or use open flames or sparks while refueling.
- Ensure no potential ignition sources are near fuel vapors.
- Turn off the engine while refueling.
- Turn off personal electronic devices during refueling.
Gasoline Engines
- Use high-quality fuel that meets EN228 standards.
- Do not use leaded gasoline, gasoline with tetraethyl lead substitutes (e.g., manganese-based), or fuel additives, as this can damage emission control systems and void the warranty.
- Do not use fuel system cleaning products not approved by Jaguar Land Rover.
Octane Rating
For optimal performance, Jaguar Land Rover recommends premium unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 95. If 95 octane is unavailable, 91 octane unleaded gasoline can be used, but may result in reduced engine power, increased fuel consumption, and potential knocking. Do not use gasoline with an octane rating below 91, as this can cause serious engine damage.
Ethanol and Methanol
- The vehicle is designed for fuel with up to 10% ethanol (E5 and E10). Do not use fuel with more than 10% ethanol (E85), as it can cause serious engine and fuel system damage.
- Avoid fuel containing methanol, as it can cause serious engine and fuel system damage not covered by warranty.
MTBE (Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether)
Unleaded gasoline with up to 15% MTBE is permitted.
Diesel Engines
- Use only high-quality diesel fuel that meets EN590 standards or equivalent.
- The vehicle can use diesel fuel with up to 7% biodiesel content (EN590). Jaguar Land Rover does not recommend diesel fuel with higher biodiesel content.
Sulfur Content
- Vehicles equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) must use fuel with a maximum sulfur content of 0.005% (50 ppm) per EN590-EU4.
- Vehicles without a DPF should use diesel fuel with a maximum sulfur content of 0.3% (3000 ppm).
- Using higher sulfur diesel may require reduced maintenance intervals. Consult your dealer if unsure.
Fuel Tank Capacity
Avoid running the fuel tank completely empty. A small reserve of fuel remains even when the indicator shows empty. Refer to the manual for specific fuel capacities.
Refueling Procedure
- Ensure the vehicle is unlocked and the alarm is deactivated if it has a locking fuel filler flap.
- Press the fuel filler flap to open it. Open the flap fully until it latches.
- After refueling, tighten the fuel cap until it clicks three times.
- To close the fuel filler flap, press it until it latches. The flap locks only when the vehicle is centrally locked.
Fuel Filler Flap Safety
- Ensure all windows, doors, and the sunroof are closed tightly before refueling, especially if children or animals are in the vehicle.
- Do not overfill the fuel tank. Fuel expansion can cause spillage, especially if the vehicle is parked on an incline or in high temperatures.
- Do not use auxiliary heaters during refueling, as this can cause a fire or explosion.
- Always check the fuel pump information to ensure you are using the correct fuel.
Fuel Protection Device
Some diesel vehicles have a fuel protection device in the filler neck to prevent misfuelling with gasoline. If a narrow gasoline nozzle is inserted fully, the device will activate. If the device is triggered, a yellow protective device will appear in the filler neck, preventing fuel from entering the tank. A tool for removing this device is located in the luggage compartment.
Fuel Consumption
The provided fuel consumption figures are based on standardized EU testing methods. Actual consumption may vary due to driving style, road conditions, weather, and vehicle load.
Fuel Consumption Table: The manual includes a table detailing fuel consumption (L/100km and MPG) and CO2 emissions for various engine and transmission configurations (Diesel, Gasoline) under City, Highway, and Combined cycles.
Urban Cycle: Testing simulates cold starts, acceleration, braking, and idling.
Highway Cycle: Testing follows the urban cycle and simulates constant speed driving and acceleration/braking phases.
Combined Cycle: Represents an average of the urban and highway cycles.
Additional fuel consumption and emissions data can be found at the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) website: http://www.vcacarfueldata.org.uk/
