Assembly Steps
Step 1: Frame Assembly
Two people are shown assembling the main frame. One person holds a side panel while the other inserts a pin into a pre-drilled hole on the frame. A close-up shows the pin being inserted and then secured by turning a cam lock mechanism with a screwdriver [screwdriver]. Another close-up shows the correct insertion of the pin, with an incorrect method crossed out [incorrect].
Step 2: Connecting Side Panels
The side panels are being connected to the base panel, forming the basic box structure. Arrows [➡️] indicate the direction of connection.
Step 3: Securing Panels
The side panels are being secured to the frame. A close-up shows a hand operating a cam lock mechanism to tighten the connection.
Step 4: Attaching Back Panel
The back panel is being slid into place. Close-ups show hands pushing the panel into grooves, indicating a sliding mechanism.
Step 5: Attaching Feet
The unit is turned upside down. Feet (150689) are attached to the base using wall plugs (151705) and wall screws (151706). A close-up shows the correct insertion of the wall plug and screw.
Step 6: Attaching Adjustable Feet
Adjustable foot brackets (150688) are attached to the base of the unit. An information icon [ⓘ] is shown with documents labeled "LÄTTHET". Another information icon [ⓘ] shows two people lifting a large panel correctly, with an incorrect lifting method crossed out [incorrect].
Step 7: Finalizing Feet Attachment
The feet (150689) are attached to the adjustable foot brackets (150688) on the assembled unit.
Step 8: Covering Screw Holes
Caps (10005905) are pushed into place to cover visible screw holes on the unit. Arrows [➡️] indicate the direction of insertion.
Step 9: Unit Configuration Options
Double-headed arrows [↔️] indicate that the unit can be stacked or configured in different ways. An information icon [ⓘ] is shown with "LÄTTHET" documents.
Step 10: Attaching Wall Mounting Strip
A wall mounting strip (10090922) is attached to the top rear of the unit. Close-ups show inserting screws and then pushing a cap (10005905) into place with a sound indicator [? Click!].
Step 11: Connecting Multiple Units
Two PLATSA units are shown being connected side-by-side. The wall mounting strip (10090922) is used to join them. Close-ups show how the strip is attached to one unit, then aligned and secured to the second unit using screws and metal brackets (146113). The process involves inserting screws through the strip and into the unit, then securing with brackets and further screws.
Step 12: Stacking Units
Two PLATSA units are shown being stacked. A maximum height of 300 cm (118 7/64") is indicated. The connection between the stacked units is shown using long screws (108736) and plastic dowels (152059). Arrows [⬆️] show the insertion and tightening of these components.
