Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Frame Assembly
Begin by joining the main furniture panels. This typically involves inserting dowels and securing panels with screws, as shown in the diagram. Ensure panels are correctly oriented before fastening.
Steps 2-4: Cabinet Box Construction
Assemble the main cabinet box structure. This involves folding and joining panels to form the basic shape of the unit. Secure the panels using the provided hardware, following the indicated connections.
Step 5: Securing the Box
Continue assembling the cabinet by securing the structure with the provided screws (8x). Ensure all connections are firm.
Step 6: Attaching Fittings
Attach the specified fittings (2x) to the assembled cabinet box. These fittings are likely for internal components or further structural support.
Step 7: Unit Placement and Initial Wall Attachment
Position the assembled unit in its desired location. Attach the necessary wall mounting hardware to the unit itself, preparing it for the final wall connection. The diagram shows attaching brackets to the top of the unit.
Steps 8-9: Internal Adjustments
Further steps may involve attaching internal fittings or adjusting shelves. The diagrams show attaching components and indicating adjustable elements.
Step 10: Final Wall Securing
This is a critical safety step. Use the provided metal straps (2x) to securely attach the furniture unit to the wall. One end of the strap attaches to the furniture unit using screws (e.g., 146113). The other end attaches to the wall. Crucially, screws and wall plugs suitable for your specific wall type are NOT included and must be purchased separately. Seek professional advice if unsure about wall fixings. The diagram indicates a "click" sound when the strap is correctly engaged with the wall fitting.
General Assembly Notes:
- Always use a spirit level to ensure the unit is level.
- Handle large panels with care and assistance if needed.
- Ensure all parts are correctly oriented and securely fastened at each step.
- The diagrams illustrate the correct and incorrect methods for assembly and wall mounting. Pay close attention to the 'X' marks indicating prohibited actions.
