Assembly Instructions
IMPORTANT! To ensure safe operation, follow these instructions carefully. Keep them for future reference.
IMPORTANT! Before assembly and each use, inspect the product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. NEVER use if any parts are missing or broken.
IMPORTANT! Adult assembly is required.
Front Wheels Installation
To attach the front wheels, unfold the stroller as described below:
- Unfold the stroller frame by pulling upward and then backward on the stroller handle. (Refer to Figure 1a).
- Lean the stroller backward so it rests on the handle and rear frame tubes, with the front wheel bayonet pointing upward. Position the front wheel assembly at the front wheel bayonet, allowing the swivel assembly to slide onto it. Push each front wheel assembly onto the bayonet until it snaps into place. (Refer to Figure 1b).
NOTE: Pull on the wheel assembly to ensure it is securely attached.
Rear Wheels Installation
Attach the rear wheels as follows:
- Lean the stroller forward to rest on the front wheels. (Refer to Figure 2).
- Position the rear axle and wheel assembly so the brake levers face the rear. Press the rear wheel assembly onto the rear frame tubes, ensuring the push buttons on the forward side of each rear tube engage the hole on the forward side of each rear wheel housing. (Refer to Figure 2).
NOTE: Pull on the rear wheel assembly to ensure it is securely attached.
NOTE: NEVER use the stroller if wheels do not lock into place. For assistance, contact customer service at 1-800-328-7363 (M-F, 8 AM - 4:30 PM PST).
Basket Installation
The rear basket tube must be installed before use:
- Insert the female end of the rear basket tube into the male ends located on the basket frame until it locks into place. (Refer to Figure 3).
Parent Tray Installation
Attach the parent tray:
- Line up the parent tray slots with the corresponding slots on the stroller frame and slide down until it locks into place. (Refer to Figure 4).
NOTE: Check to make sure the parent tray is secure before using.
WARNING: Do not place hot liquids or more than 3 pounds (1.36 kg) in the parent tray. Serious burns or unstable conditions could result.
Brakes Operation
To engage the brakes:
- Apply light downward pressure to the brake lever on each rear wheel. The stroller may require slight forward or rearward movement to align the brake teeth with the wheel brake cluster. (Refer to Figure 5).
Check that the stroller will not move and that both brakes are properly applied. To release, gently lift up on the brake lever.
WARNING: Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed to prevent it from rolling away. NEVER leave the stroller unattended on a hill or incline, as it may slide down.
Folding and Unfolding
WARNING: Be careful when folding and unfolding to prevent finger entrapment.
CAUTION: Do not allow children near the stroller while folding and unfolding.
To Fold Stroller
- Slide the thumb trigger to the left and squeeze the pull trigger while pushing forward on the handle. (Refer to Figure 6a).
- Once the stroller begins to fold, release the handle and pull backward on the front frame until the stroller is folded. Secure the stroller in the folded position by locking the fold latch (located on the side of the stroller) over the protruding rivet. (Refer to Figure 6b).
To Unfold Stroller
- Unlock the release lever. (Refer to Figure 7a).
- Lift up on the stroller handle with both hands until the stroller frame is erect and locked in the open position. (Refer to Figure 7b). Ensure both spring-loaded latches on the sides of the frame are fully engaged before placing your child in the stroller.
Infant Car Seat Attachment
WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out; always use the Infant Car Seat harness.
CAUTION: Avoid serious injury from falling; always use the safety belt to secure the car seat to the stroller.
- Place the car seat onto the upper frame. The car seat can face either forward or backward. (Refer to Figure 8a).
- Strap the safety belts over the car seat and connect the buckles. Tighten the strap so it fits snugly and the car seat is secured to the frame.
- Tighten the bottom support straps, located on the back of the upper frame, by pulling back on the loop and sliding the adjuster forward for a snug fit. (Refer to Figure 8c).
NOTE: Some car seats have a belt path for the safety belt to slide through. If your car seat has a belt path, feed the safety belt through it and secure.
Figures 8b and 8c illustrate securing the car seat.
