Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, Flip7 FE, and Fold7 Pre-order Promotion Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. Participate in the promotion only if you agree with the terms described herein and are over 18 years of age.
1. Organizer of the Promotion
The organizer of the "SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FLIP7, SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FLIP7 FE AND GALAXY Z FOLD7 SERIES SMARTPHONE PRE-ORDER PROMOTION" (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion") is Samsung Electronics Magyar Zártkörűen Működő Részvénytársaság (branch and postal address: 1138 Budapest, Dunavirág u. 2. 7th floor; company registration number: 16-10-001767; tax number: 10276451-2-16; contact: https://www.samsung.com/hu/support/email/) (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer").
The tasks related to the purchase and handover of the Products Participating in the Promotion are carried out independently by the various Participating Stores, and the Organizer does not participate in these processes.
2. Eligibility Requirements
Only individuals who are at least 18 years of age, have a place of residence or stay in Hungary, or are Hungarian citizens, and are legally capable (hereinafter referred to as "Participant") can participate in the Promotion, provided they purchase one of the following smartphones during the Promotion Period defined in Section 4.1 of these Terms and Conditions:

- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE
These smartphones are sold by the Organizer and are also available through retail channels of Magyar Telekom, Yettel, One, Strong&Unique, and Bravophone (hereinafter referred to individually as "Product Participating in the Promotion" or collectively as "Products Participating in the Promotion").
The purchase must be made at one of the following Hungarian stores, technical stores, and online stores (hereinafter referred to as "Participating Stores"):

If a Participant is a natural person with limited legal capacity who is over 18 years of age, they are entitled to use the benefits only together with their legal representative, after the legal representative's identity has been verified.

3. Subject of the Promotion
Within the framework of this Promotion, the Participant is entitled to choose from fifteen (15) benefits specified in Annex 1 of these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Benefits" or individually as "Benefit"), through which they can become eligible for a storage upgrade benefit or a price discount, during the promotion period specified in Section 4.1 of these Terms and Conditions, according to the conditions defined for the respective Benefit in Annex 1.
The Promotion is only valid for purchases made at the Participating Stores specified in Section 2.1.2 of these Terms and Conditions and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
The prices of the Products Participating in the Promotion may differ at the various Participating Stores. The Participant can inquire about the current price of the Product Participating in the Promotion from the selected Participating Store.
The Organizer can only provide the Promotion for the stock available at the Participating Stores, according to the processes of the Participating Stores.
Benefits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.
The Organizer informs the Participant that one (1) Participant can purchase a maximum of five (5) Products Participating in the Promotion under the conditions specified in these Terms and Conditions.
Further information on matters not regulated in these Terms and Conditions can be requested from the Participating Stores. The Organizer expressly draws the attention of the Participants that the Participating Stores may differ in matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions.
4. Duration of the Promotion
The duration of the Promotion is from July 9, 2025, 4:00 PM to July 24, 2025, 11:59 PM, or until the stock of Products Participating in the Promotion is exhausted, or until withdrawn (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion Period"). The Participant can find more detailed information about the duration of the Benefits in Annex 1.
The Organizer expressly informs the Participants that the Promotion Period may differ at the individual Participating Stores, about which the Participant can find information in Annex 1 of these Terms and Conditions.
5. Process for Free Upgrade to Higher Storage Capacity
The process for a free upgrade to a higher storage capacity may vary among the Participating Stores. The Organizer disclaims responsibility for the processes carried out at the Participating Stores. The Participant can inquire at the Participating Stores about the process for a free upgrade to higher memory capacity.
6. Prices and Collection/Delivery of Products Participating in the Promotion
The prices of the Products Participating in the Promotion may differ at the various Participating Stores. The Participant can inquire about the current price of the Product Participating in the Promotion from the selected Participating Store.
The date and method of collection or delivery of the Products Participating in the Promotion, and the rules related thereto, may differ at the various Participating Stores. The Participant can inquire about the method of collection or delivery of the Products Participating in the Promotion from the selected Participating Store.
Further information on matters not regulated in these Terms and Conditions can be requested from the Participating Stores. The Organizer expressly draws the attention of the Participants that the Participating Stores may differ in matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions.
7. Taxation, Costs
Any potential tax liability related to the Benefits shall be borne by the Organizer. The Organizer is not responsible for any further obligations beyond providing the Benefits and settling their tax implications.
8. Personal Data

The Organizer does not process personal data during the purchase of Products Participating in the Promotion; data processing is carried out by the Participating Stores according to their respective data processing policies.
9. Miscellaneous Provisions
The Organizer assumes no liability for the failure or delay in providing the Benefits, which is beyond the Organizer's control, or for damages incurred during handover.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify the terms of the Promotion without justification, including the termination of the Promotion. The Organizer will publish information regarding such modifications with the same publicity as other announcements of the Promotion, and any modifications will be effective from the date of the announcement. Following the modification, Participants can fully exercise the rights acquired up to the date of modification. Before participating in the Promotion, please carefully read these participation terms and conditions, paying particular attention to any possible modifications, to be aware of the Promotion's terms at all times. Participation in the Promotion is voluntary. Limitations and exclusions of liability related to the Promotion apply to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
The Organizer excludes its liability for any external SQL attacks on the Samsung Webshop or the server operating it. Therefore, if the Samsung Webshop or its server is attacked, and Participants receive erroneous system messages regarding the promotion, the Organizer assumes no liability for such cases.
The Organizer excludes its liability for the malfunction of the Samsung Webshop and the usability of the Benefits due to reasons beyond its control, during which the website is inaccessible or its accessibility is limited. However, the Organizer will take all necessary measures to identify and rectify the cause of the malfunction as soon as possible.
The Organizer reserves the right to immediately exclude a Participant from the promotion if any (computerized) manipulation, creation of mass-generated email addresses, or behavior that is inconsistent with or violates the spirit of the Promotion is observed or reasonably suspected.
If the Participant closes the browser window before finalizing the purchase, or if the connection is interrupted (for any reason) with the serving website, the Organizer assumes no liability for the loss of data.
The Organizer cannot be held responsible for the erroneous announcement of the Promotion if it occurs without its approval.
In addition to the foregoing, the Organizer shall not be liable for any non-pecuniary, indirect, or consequential damages, costs, or expenses incurred by the Participant or third parties in connection with or arising from these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of profit, lost earnings, damage to or loss of commercial reputation, and claims from third parties.
Hungarian laws shall govern these Terms and Conditions, and any legal disputes arising in connection with participation in the Promotion shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Hungarian courts, taking into account the restrictions set forth in the relevant legal regulations.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under Hungarian law, all other provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect, and the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be separated from these Terms and Conditions (as long as it remains invalid, illegal, or unenforceable). The Participant and the Organizer will make every reasonable effort to replace the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision (the separated provision) with a valid, legal, and enforceable provision that achieves the closest possible effect to the intended effect of the separated provision.

2. Purpose and Scope of Data Processing; Data Processors
Samsung, as the data controller, processes the personal data of participants (hereinafter referred to as "Participant") necessary for the execution of the "SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FLIP7, SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FLIP7 FE AND GALAXY Z FOLD7 SERIES SMARTPHONE PRE-ORDER PROMOTION" (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion"). Certain tasks related to the execution of the Promotion are carried out by MGCargo Márton és Gábor Kft. (registered office: H-1094 Budapest, Mihalkovics u. 16.; company registration number: 01-09-566062; tax number: 12218871-2-43; hereinafter referred to as "Data Processor"), which is commissioned by the Organizer for logistics. Such tasks include, for example: communication with the Participant and organizing the delivery of the Benefit to the Participant. Samsung, as the data controller, informs Participants that it may request the IMEI list of the sold promotional products from its retail partners, as data providers, to verify that the product for which the Benefit is claimed was indeed purchased. The Participating Stores process the personal data provided during the purchase of the device in accordance with the data processing policy of the respective Participating Store.
3. Legal Basis for Data Processing
The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR"), as the data processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (the Promotion) to which the Participant is party.
4. Categories of Data Processed
Samsung processes the following data of Participants in connection with the Promotion:
- Full name of the Participant;
- Date of birth of the Participant (to verify that the Participant is over 18 years of age);
- Address or postal address of the Participant;
- Phone number of the Participant;
- Copy of the invoice proving the purchase of the Product Participating in the Promotion, which may also include the following information:
- Invoice number and date of issue of the invoice proving the purchase of the product participating in the Promotion;
- Name and address of the retail outlet where the Participant purchased the Product Participating in the Promotion;
- Name and quantity of the product participating in the Promotion, its identification number, IMEI number, model code, serial number, net and gross purchase price;
- Date of purchase of the Product Participating in the Promotion.
5. Persons Authorized to Access Data
Personal data can be accessed by individuals involved in the organization of the Promotion within Samsung and the Organizer.
6. Transfer of Data to Third Countries and Automated Decision-Making
Personal data of Participants are not transferred to data controllers or data processors in third countries.
Samsung does not perform automated decision-making, including profiling, with the personal data of Participants.
7. Rights and Legal Remedies Regarding Data Processing
7.1. Data Protection Rights and Legal Remedies
The rights and legal remedies of data subjects are detailed in the relevant provisions of the GDPR (specifically Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 77, 78, 79, 80, and 82). The following summary outlines the most important provisions, and Samsung provides information on the rights and legal remedies of data subjects regarding data processing accordingly. Samsung shall inform the data subject without undue delay, and in any case within one month of receiving the request for exercising their rights (see GDPR Articles 15-22), about the actions taken in response to the request. If necessary, taking into account the complexity of the request and the number of requests, this deadline may be extended by a further two months. Samsung shall inform the data subject about the extension of the deadline, stating the reasons for the delay, within one month of receiving the request.
Samsung shall provide the requested information in writing, or electronically if the data subject submits the request electronically. Oral information may also be provided to the data subject, provided that the data subject proves their identity to Samsung.
7.2. Right of Access
(1) The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation from Samsung as to whether or not personal data concerning them are being processed. If personal data are being processed, the data subject has the right to access the personal data and the following information:
- a) the purposes of the processing;
- b) the categories of personal data concerned;
- c) the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organizations;
- d) where possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period;
- e) the right to request from Samsung rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing of personal data concerning the data subject or to object to such processing;
- f) the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; and
- g) where the personal data are not collected from the data subject, any available information as to their source;
(2) Where personal data are transferred to a third country, the data subject shall have the right to be informed about the appropriate safeguards relating to the transfer.
(3) Samsung shall provide a copy of the personal data undergoing processing to the data subject. For further copies requested by the data subject, Samsung may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs. If the data subject submitted the request electronically, the information shall be provided in a commonly used electronic format, unless the data subject requests otherwise.
7.3. Right to Rectification
The data subject has the right to obtain from Samsung without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them. In addition, the data subject has the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of a supplementary statement.
7.4. Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”)
(1) The data subject has the right to obtain from Samsung the erasure of personal data concerning them without undue delay, and Samsung shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies:
- a) the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
- b) the data subject withdraws consent on which the processing is based, and where there is no other legal ground for the processing;
- c) the data subject objects to the processing pursuant to Article 21(1) GDPR, and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or the data subject objects to the processing pursuant to Article 21(2) GDPR;
- d) the personal data have been unlawfully processed;
- e) the personal data have to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation to which Samsung is subject under Union or Member State law;
- f) the personal data have been collected in relation to the offer of information society services referred to in Article 8(1) GDPR.
(2) If Samsung has made the personal data public and is obliged pursuant to paragraph (1) to erase the personal data, Samsung, taking account of available technology and the cost of implementation, shall take reasonable steps, including technical measures, to inform other controllers processing the personal data that the data subject has requested the erasure by such controllers of any links to, or copy or replication of, those personal data.
(3) Paragraphs (1) and (2) shall not apply to the extent that processing is necessary:
- a) for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information;
- b) for compliance with a legal obligation which requires processing by Union or Member State law to which Samsung is subject;
- c) for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes in accordance with Article 89(1) GDPR in so far as the right referred to in paragraph (1) is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of the objectives of that processing; or
- d) for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
7.5. Right to Restriction of Processing
(1) The data subject has the right to obtain from Samsung the restriction of processing where one of the following applies:
- a) the accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject, for a period enabling Samsung to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
- b) the processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests instead the restriction of their use;
- c) Samsung no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; or
- d) the data subject has objected to processing pursuant to Article 21(1) GDPR pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of Samsung override those of the data subject.
(2) Where processing has been restricted under paragraph (1), such personal data shall, with the exception of storage, only be processed with the data subject's consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for important reasons of public interest of the Union or of a Member State.
(3) Samsung shall inform the data subject before the restriction of processing is lifted.
7.6. Obligation to Notify Regarding Rectification, Erasure, or Restriction of Processing
Samsung shall communicate any rectification, erasure or restriction of processing carried out in accordance with Article 16, Article 17 or Article 18 GDPR to each recipient to whom the personal data have been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Samsung shall inform the data subject about those recipients if the data subject requests it.
7.7. Right to Object
(1) The data subject shall have the right to object, on grounds relating to their particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning them which is based on legitimate interests, including profiling based on those provisions. Samsung shall no longer process the personal data unless it demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
(2) Where personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, the data subject shall have the right to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning them for such marketing, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing.
(3) Where the data subject objects to processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data shall no longer be processed for such purposes.
(4) In the context of the use of information society services, and notwithstanding Directive 2002/58/EC, the data subject may exercise their right to object by automated means which technical specifications are used.
(5) Where personal data are processed for scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes pursuant to Article 89(1) GDPR, the data subject shall have the right to object, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to processing of personal data concerning them, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out for reasons of public interest.
7.8. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
The data subject shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data concerning them infringes the GDPR. 7.9. Right to an Effective Judicial Remedy Against a Supervisory Authority
(1) The data subject shall have the right to an effective judicial remedy against a legally binding decision of a supervisory authority concerning them.
(2) The data subject shall have the right to an effective judicial remedy if the competent supervisory authority does not handle the complaint or does not inform the data subject within three months about the progress or outcome of the procedure concerning the complaint lodged.
(3) Proceedings against a supervisory authority shall be instituted before the courts of the Member State in which the supervisory authority has its seat.
7.10. Right to an Effective Judicial Remedy Against Samsung or a Data Processor
(1) The data subject shall have the right to an effective judicial remedy without prejudice to any other administrative or non-judicial remedy available, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, if they consider that their rights under the GDPR have been infringed as a result of processing of personal data that is not compliant with the GDPR.
(2) Proceedings against Samsung or a data processor shall be instituted before the courts of the Member State in which Samsung or the data processor has its seat. Such proceedings may also be instituted before the courts of the Member State of the data subject's habitual residence.
