EKWB D5 Distribution Panel and Pump Installation Guide for Fractal Design R6/S2 Chassis

Step 1: Unpack and Inspect Components

Remove the distribution panel and all included hardware/accessories from the packaging. Inspect everything for any damage.

The package should contain the following items:

1x Distribution Panel
1x D5 Mounting Plate
2x M4x12mm Screws
2x 6-32x1/2" Screws
2x Fan Screws
2x G1/4 Plug

Step 2: Locate Mounting Plate and Screws

Locate the D5 Mounting Plate and all the included screws.

Step 3: Mount D5 Pump to Mounting Plate

Secure your D5 pump (with the EK XTOP Revo D5 top installed) to the D5 Mounting plate using the provided 2x 6-32x1/2" screws. The mounting holes are pictured below.

Step 4: Install Fittings on Pump Top

Install 1x EK-AF Angled 90 G1/4 Fitting into the pump top's "out" port (located at the top). Also, install half of the 2x Bitspower Dual G1/4" Adjustable Aqua Link Pipe fittings into both ports on the pump top.

Step 5: Install Fittings on Distribution Panel

Install the other halves of the 2x Bitspower Dual G1/4" Adjustable Aqua Link Pipe fittings into the specified ports on the Distribution Panel.

Step 6: Connect Pump Assembly to Distribution Panel

Slide the Bitspower Dual G1/4" Adjustable Aqua Link Pipe fittings together to connect the pump assembly to the distribution panel.

The D5 pump assembly, with its attached fittings, is being connected to the distribution panel. The Aqua Link Pipe fittings on the pump are sliding into the corresponding fittings on the distribution panel.

Step 7: Secure Pump Mounting Plate

Secure the D5 Mounting Plate to the Distribution Panel using the provided 2x M4x12mm screws.

Step 8: Prepare Computer Chassis

Remove all panels from your Fractal Design R6/S2 chassis. This includes the top panel/dust filter, sidewall panel, back panel, front window panel, and front panel/dust filter.

Step 9: Install Distribution Panel into Chassis

Drop the Distribution Panel, with the pump installed, into the case through the top opening.

Step 10: Orient and Position Panel

Orient the Panel and pump as pictured. Once it is in the correct position, flip the case onto its back side to access the bottom of the case.

Step 11: Secure Panel/Mounting Plate

Secure the Panel/D5 Mounting Plate to the chassis using the provided 2x fan screws in the specified fan screw locations shown in the image.

Step 12: Final Assembly and Resources

Your Distribution Panel and D5 pump are now installed. You can now proceed to install the rest of the components for your build.
