Wiring and Mounting Diagram
The diagram illustrates the installation process for a lighting fixture. It details the mounting hardware, wiring connections, and recommended switch type.
Mounting and Canopy Wiring:
The fixture mounts to a ceiling using a Slope Ceiling Adapter. The main canopy houses the wiring connections. The following wires are connected within the canopy:
- Brass Wire: Ground connection.
- White Wire: Neutral (-) connection.
- Black Wire: Live (+) connection.
These wires connect to a terminal block inside the canopy.
Fixture Suspension:
The lighting fixture itself is suspended by rods, measuring 30cm (12 inches) in length, with four rods indicated (30cm(12")x4).
Electrical Connection to House Wiring:
The fixture's internal wiring connects to the house electrical supply. The diagram shows:
- Fixture's Red Wire (L+) connects to the house's Red Wire (L+).
- Fixture's Brown Wire connects to the house's Brown Wire.
- Fixture's Blue Wire (N-) connects to the house's Black Wire (N-).
Important! The polarity of the output wires needs to be matched. Otherwise, the fixture will not light on.
Recommended Switch:
The fixture is compatible with a Triac Dimming Lutron Switch.
