Before First Use
Before using the appliance for the first time:
- Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging material. Keep packaging (plastic bags, cardboard) out of reach of children.
- Check the appliance for any visible damage that may have occurred during transport.
- Place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Clean the lid, whisk, and mixer with warm, soapy water. Dry all parts thoroughly.
- Wipe the exterior and interior with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- The appliance is designed only for heating and frothing milk. Do not fill it with other liquids.
Preparing Milk Foam
Ensure the electrical installation matches the rating plate. Plug the appliance into the socket.
Mount the whisk at the bottom of the milk frother. Fill the frother with the desired amount of milk. Note the lower maximum indication for frothing milk (MAX - 115 ml). Frothing milk expands, so overfilling can cause overflow. The minimum capacity is 75 ml.
Making Hot Milk Froth
Place the lid on the frother and set it on the power base. Briefly press the button to switch on the appliance. Both indicator lights (blue/red) will illuminate, and the whisk will start rotating. Depending on the milk quantity, the frother will stop automatically after approximately 90 seconds. The blue light will turn off, and the red light will flash for about 30 seconds to indicate it is ready.
Making Cold Milk Froth
Place the lid on the frother and set it on the power base. Press and hold the button for 1-2 seconds to switch on the appliance. The blue indicator light will illuminate, and the whisk will start rotating. Depending on the milk quantity, the frother will stop automatically after approximately 60 seconds. The blue light will turn off, and the red light will flash for about 30 seconds to indicate it is ready.
Once ready, remove the lid and pour the milk froth into a mug or cup. Only hold the milk frother by its handle, as the rest of the appliance will be hot. Do not use a metal spoon or object to scoop out the froth, as this can damage the coating.
After use, clean the milk frother as described in the Cleaning & Maintenance chapter. Allow the frother to cool for 2 minutes before reusing, or rinse it with cold water for faster readiness.
Tips for Best Results
- Full-cream milk yields the best milk froth.
- Using less than 75 ml of milk may result in a less satisfactory outcome.
- Milk froth quality can vary significantly between different milk brands. Experiment with other brands if needed.
Heating Milk
Mount the mixer attachment at the bottom of the milk frother. Fill the jug with the desired amount of milk, observing the upper maximum indication for heating milk (MAX - 240 ml).
Place the lid back on the jug and set the appliance on the base. Press the start button to begin. The control lights (blue/red) will illuminate, and the mixer will start rotating. The preparation will stop automatically after approximately 100 to 120 seconds, depending on the filling volume. The blue control light will go out, and the red light will blink for about 30 seconds to indicate readiness.
After preparation, remove the lid and pour the hot milk into a cup. After use, clean the appliance as described in the Cleaning & Maintenance chapter. Allow the appliance to cool for 2 minutes before using it again or rinse it with cold water.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely. Clean the appliance immediately after every use.
- Remove the whisk or mixer by pulling it straight upwards.
- Rinse the inside of the milk frother with hot water to remove milk residue.
- Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, solvents, or sharp objects that could damage the non-stick coating. Use a soft cloth.
- Clean the lid, sealing ring, whisk, and mixer with warm, soapy water and dry them thoroughly.
- ? Never immerse the appliance, power base, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Wipe the exterior of the appliance regularly with a damp cloth.
