General Service and Warranty Conditions
Inventum provides a 2-year full manufacturer's warranty on all products. Within this period, faulty products or parts are exchanged for new ones free of charge. To claim the warranty, return the product to the store of purchase or contact Inventum customer service via their website. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, and a copy of the original receipt is required. The warranty is valid for normal domestic use within the Netherlands.
Breakdowns or Faults Outside the Warranty Period: Report issues to customer service. Dispatch costs for inspection or repair are the customer's responsibility. Repairs may incur charges, and prior authorization is needed. For large appliances, a service engineer can be dispatched at the customer's expense (call-out fees, parts, and labor). Repair costs must be paid in advance.
Warranty Exclusions: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper or misuse, insufficient maintenance, failure to follow operating/maintenance instructions, unauthorized repairs, use of non-original parts, commercial use, or removal of the serial number/rating label. It also excludes consumable items like whisks, filters, batteries, bulbs, glass parts, and transport damage not reported within 5 working days. Damage covered by home contents insurance is also excluded.
Important to Know: Replacement or repair does not extend the original warranty period. Unfounded complaints will result in costs being charged to the customer. Post-warranty repairs will incur all associated costs. Inventum is not liable for damage caused by external factors unless mandated by law. These terms are governed by Dutch law.
