Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: Non-observance of the following notes may result in personal injury or material damage (electric shock, skin burns, fire). These safety and hazard instructions are intended to protect your health, the health of others, and the product itself. Please adhere to these guidelines and include them when passing the product to others.
- This heated underblanket must not be used by persons who are not sensitive to heat or by other vulnerable persons who may not be able to react to overheating (e.g., diabetics, people with skin alterations due to illness or scarred tissue, or those who have taken pain relief medication or consumed alcohol).
- This heated underblanket must not be used by very young children (0-3 years old) as they are unable to respond to overheating.
- The heated underblanket can be used by children older than 3 and younger than 8 years of age, provided they are supervised. The control must always be set to the minimum temperature.
- Children over 8 years old, and individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, may use this heated underblanket if supervised and instructed on safe usage, and if they fully understand the risks involved.
- Children must not play with the heated underblanket.

- This heated underblanket may only be used with the control specified on the label.
- Connect only to the mains voltage specified on the label.
- The electrical and magnetic fields emitted may interfere with pacemakers. Field strengths are below limits (electrical: max. 5000 V/m, magnetic: max. 80 A/m, flux density: max. 0.1 millitesla). Consult your doctor and pacemaker manufacturer before use if you have a pacemaker.
- Do not pull, twist, or make sharp bends in the cables.
- Ensure cables are routed safely to prevent entanglement, strangulation, tripping, or stepping on them.

Intended Use
CAUTION: This electric underblanket is designed for warming beds, only.
Operation
4.1 Safety
CAUTION: This heated underblanket is equipped with the INVENTUM SAFETY SYSTEM (ISS). This sensor technology prevents overheating by automatically switching off the underblanket in case of a fault. If the safety system has switched off the underblanket, the temperature settings will not illuminate, even when switched on. Please note that the underblanket becomes inoperable for safety reasons and must be sent to the designated service address. Never connect a defective underblanket with another control of the same type, as this will trigger a permanent shutdown via the control's safety system.
4.2 Initial Use
- Spread the heated underblanket flat onto your mattress, starting at the foot end. It can be used on both sides.
- Connect the control to the underblanket by plugging in the connector.
- Plug the supply plug into the mains outlet.
- Place your bedsheet over the bed as usual, ensuring the underblanket is between the mattress and the bedsheet.
CAUTION: Ensure the underblanket is spread out entirely flat and does not rumple or crease during use. Check its position when making the bed.
4.3 Switching On
Set the ON/OFF and temperature slider to setting 1, 2, or 3 to switch on the electric underblanket. The selected temperature setting will illuminate.
4.4 Setting the Temperature
- Setting 0: OFF
- Setting 1: Minimum heat
- Setting 2: Medium heat
- Setting 3: Maximum heat
NOTE: The underblanket heats up fastest when the highest temperature setting is selected first. We recommend switching on the underblanket approximately 30 minutes before going to bed and covering it with a quilt to prevent heat loss.
WARNING: If the underblanket is used for several hours, it is recommended to use the lowest setting (1) to avoid overheating of the user.
4.5 Switching Off
Set the ON/OFF and temperature slider to the OFF (0) position to switch off the electric underblanket. The temperature settings will no longer be illuminated.
NOTE: If the underblanket is not used for several days, set the slider to OFF (0), remove the mains plug from the socket, and then disconnect the control from the underblanket.
Cleaning & Maintenance
WARNING: Always unplug the supply plug from the mains outlet and disconnect the control before cleaning. Failure to do so risks electric shock.
CAUTION: The control must never come into contact with water or other liquids, as it may be damaged. Clean the control with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaning agents. Small marks on the underblanket can be removed with a damp cloth or sponge, or with a little liquid detergent for delicate laundry.
CAUTION: The underblanket must not be dry cleaned, wrung out, machine dried, mangled, or ironed, as this could cause damage. For heavier soiling, wash in a washing machine on a gentle, 30 °C cycle (woolens programme). Use a wool laundry detergent and follow manufacturer's instructions. For environmental reasons, wash with other items if possible.
CAUTION: Excessive washing will wear out the underblanket. It should be machine-washed a maximum of 5 times during its lifespan. After washing, while still damp, shape it to its original form and size and dry it flat on a clothes drying rack.
CAUTION: Do not attach the underblanket to washing lines with pegs or similar, as this may cause damage. Only reconnect the control when both the connector and the underblanket are completely dry. Otherwise, damage may occur.
WARNING: Never switch on the underblanket to dry it, as this poses a risk of electric shock.
Storage
If the underblanket is not used for an extended period, store it in its original packaging. Disconnect the control by unplugging the connector.
CAUTION: Allow the underblanket to cool down completely before storing. Otherwise, it may be damaged. Do not place objects on top of the underblanket during storage to prevent sharp folds in the wiring.
Disposal
⏳ Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be collected for reuse and recycling. Return electrical and electronic equipment marked with the separate collection symbol to a municipal waste collection point.
