Warranty Information

DO NOT RETURN YOUR PRODUCT TO THE STORE. PLEASE CONTACT BABY TREND FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS, SERVICE AND REPAIR.

The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within the first 180 days of purchase. Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration or accident, or with an altered or removed serial number invalidates all claims against the manufacturer. Any damage to property during installation is the sole responsibility of the end user.

The Customer Service Department can be contacted at 1 (800) 328-7363 Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM (PST). Return Authorizations are required prior to returning product(s) to Baby Trend®. Warranty is valid only in North America.

Parts Identification

Check that you have all the parts for this model before assembly.

Safety Warnings

General Warnings:

  • Prevent serious injury or death.
  • Prevent falls and suffocation.
  • ALWAYS use restraints. Adjust to fit snugly.
  • NEVER use for a child able to sit up unassisted.

Fall Hazard:

  • Babies have suffered skull fractures falling while in and from the product.
  • Use product ONLY on the floor.
  • NEVER lift or carry the baby in the product.
  • The child's activity may move the product.
  • NEVER use on any elevated surface.

Suffocation Hazard:

  • Babies have suffocated when products tipped over on soft surfaces.
  • NEVER use on a bed, sofa, cushion, or other soft surface.
  • NEVER leave the child unattended.

Additional Usage Restrictions:

  • NEVER allow your product to be used as a toy.
  • The toy bar is NOT a Carry Handle.
  • Never use the toy bar to lift or carry the product.
  • NEVER move the product with the child inside.
  • The product is NOT intended for use as a carrier.
  • The product is NOT intended for use as a sleeper or for prolonged periods of use.
  • NEVER place a child under 5 lbs. (2.26 kg) or over 25 lbs. (11 kg) in the product.
  • Check your product regularly for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed.
  • Discontinue use of the product if it malfunctions or becomes damaged. Please contact customer service at 1-800-328-7363 to arrange for repair or obtain replacement parts.

Assembly Instructions

IMPORTANT! To ensure safe operation of your product, please follow these instructions carefully. Keep these instructions for future reference.

IMPORTANT! Before assembly and each use, inspect this product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. NEVER use if any parts are missing or broken.

IMPORTANT! Adult assembly is required.

Frame Assembly:

1. To unfold, hold the Lower Seat Frame while gently pushing the Front Base Frame in the opposite direction until it locks into place (See Figure 1a).

2. Push each end of the Backrest Frame into the Lower Seat Frame while pushing the Tabs inward (See Figure 1b). Be sure the Tabs lock in place. Note: It may be necessary to slide the seat fabric down while aligning the Backrest Frame into position.

3. Insert the ends of the Rear Base Frame into the Front Base Frame while pushing the Tabs inward (See Figure 1c). Be sure the Tabs lock in place.

Installing the Batteries:

The music/vibration unit requires three size C batteries (not included). It is recommended that you use alkaline batteries for longer battery life.

CAUTION: To prevent possible battery leakage, be sure to follow the guidelines outlined below:

  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix different types (alkaline, standard, or rechargeable).
  • Keep batteries out of reach of children.
  • Always dispose of batteries properly.
  • Remove batteries when the product is not in use for long periods of time.
  • Never leave exhausted batteries in the unit.
  • Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

To install batteries: Remove the battery cover using a Philips screwdriver (See Figure 2a). Install three size C batteries as shown (See Figure 2b). Re-install the battery door and secure with the screw. Do not overtighten the screw.

Installing Music/Vibration Unit:

Align the mounting groove on the unit to the corresponding slot on the footrest. Slide the unit onto the mounting groove until it is securely in place (See Figure 3).

Secure Bottom Seat Cover:

Pull the flap down and snap all the buttons to the bottom of the Seat Pad (See Figure 4).

Toy Bar Installation:

Position the toy bar above the product as shown (See Figure 5a). Insert the end clips of the toy bar on the frame.

To adjust the toy bar position, slide the toy bar up or down (See Figure 5b).

Headrest Installation:

Unfasten the fabric loop on the back of the headrest. Insert the loose end of the loop through the seat pad loop. Secure the headrest to the seat pad by fastening the fabric loop on the back of the headrest (See Figure 6).

Folding the Bouncer:

To fold, push the fold buttons located on both sides inward and then down (See Figure 7). Note: Remove the toy bar before folding.

Unfolding the Bouncer:

To unfold, hold the Lower Seat Frame while gently pushing the Front Base Frame in the opposite direction until it locks into place (See Figure 8).

Carry Handle:

Use the handle at the back of the Seat Pad to carry (See Figure 9). Only use the handle when the bouncer is folded. Do not carry with your hand or arm between the frames.

Rocker Function Activation:

Rotate the rocker stoppers inward on both sides to use the rocking function (See Figure 10).

Non-Rocker Function Activation:

Rotate the rocker stoppers outward on both sides until the ends fully lock in place and touch the ground (See Figure 11). Note: Before moving the product, return it to the rocker function mode.

Safety Restraint and Usage

Seat Restraint:

Unbuckle the straps on each side of the seat restraint (See Figure 12a). Carefully place the child in the seat and buckle the straps (See Figure 12b). Adjust the straps so that the restraint fits the child snugly.

Care and Cleaning

Seat Pad and Headrest:

Using a damp cloth and mild soap, wipe clean and air dry. Do not immerse in water.

Toy Bar and Toys:

Using a damp cloth and mild soap, wipe clean and air dry. Do not immerse in water.

Frame:

Using a soft cloth and mild soap, wipe the frame.

Other Information

Music/Vibration Unit Operation:

To use the vibration function: Slide the vibration switch to the ON position.

To use the music function: This unit features different melodies. Slide the music switch to LOW or HIGH to activate the music and select the volume.

If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna; Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver; Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected; Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
