Warranty Information
Important: Do Not Return to Store
Contact Baby Trend directly for replacement parts, service, and repair. The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects for 180 days from purchase. It is voided by misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, accident, or serial number alteration/removal. Any property damage during installation is the end user's responsibility. Customer Service can be reached at 1 (800) 328-7363, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm PST. Return Authorizations are required. Warranty valid only in North America.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ FALL Hazard
Babies have suffered skull fractures falling from bouncers. Always use the bouncer ONLY on the floor. Always use restraints and adjust them to fit snugly. NEVER lift or carry a baby while they are in the bouncer.
⚠️ SUFFOCATION Hazard
Babies have suffocated when bouncers tipped over on soft surfaces. NEVER use on a bed, sofa, cushion, or other soft surface. NEVER leave a baby unattended.
To Prevent Falls and Suffocation:
- Always use restraints and adjust them to fit snugly.
- NEVER use for a child who can sit up unassisted.
- NEVER use on any elevated surface (e.g., tables, counters, near stairs).
- A child's activity may cause the bouncer to move.
- NEVER allow your bouncer to be used as a toy.
- The toy bar is NOT a carry handle.
- NEVER use the toy bar to lift or carry the bouncer.
- NEVER move the bouncer with the child inside.
- The bouncer is NOT intended for use as a carrier.
- The bouncer is NOT intended for use as a sleeper or for prolonged periods of use.
- NEVER place a child weighing less than 6 lbs (3 kg) or more than 25 lbs (11 kg) in the bouncer.
- Regularly check the product for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed.
- Discontinue use if the product malfunctions or becomes damaged. Contact customer service for repair or replacement parts.
Product Parts
Before assembly, check that you have all the parts for this model.
- Seat Pad: The padded seat cover.
- Headrest: Provides head support for the baby (may vary in type).
- Right Backrest Tube: One of the upright tubes for the backrest.
- Left Backrest Tube: The other upright tube for the backrest.
- Rear Base Frame Tube: The main lower support tube.
- Left Base Frame Wire: Metal wire connecting the left side of the base.
- Right Base Frame Wire: Metal wire connecting the right side of the base.
- Footrest Wire: Metal wire for the footrest support.
- Toy Bar with Plush Toys: Attaches to the bouncer for entertainment (may vary in type).
- Music/Vibration Unit: Module that provides music and vibration features.
Assembly Instructions
Important Assembly Notes:
Follow these instructions carefully for safe operation. Inspect the product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges before assembly and each use. Adult assembly is required.
Bouncer Frame Assembly:
Step 1: Base Frame Assembly
Place the rear base frame tube on a flat surface. Lift the plastic corners. Insert the left and right base frame wires into the rear base frame tube. Push the plastic corners back down until they securely snap onto the base frame wires.
Step 2: Backrest Tube Connection
Connect the ends of the left and right backrest tubes and push them together until they click into place.
Step 3: Footrest Wire Attachment
Attach the footrest wire to the lower seat frame by inserting the ends of the upright tubes into the corresponding loops on the footrest wire.
Step 4: Upper Frame Attachment
Attach the upper frame assembly to the frame base by inserting the ends of the base frame wires into the corresponding holes on the backrest tube hub. Ensure each side snaps into place.
Step 5: Frame Assembly Complete
The bouncer frame assembly is now complete.
Battery Installation
The music/vibration unit requires three size C batteries (not included). Alkaline batteries are recommended for longer life.
Battery Precautions:
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix different battery types (alkaline, standard, rechargeable).
- Keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Dispose of batteries properly.
- Remove batteries when the bouncer is not in use for extended periods.
- Never leave exhausted batteries in the unit.
- Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Seat Pad Installation
Step 8: Unbuckle Straps
Unbuckle the three straps on the back of the seat pad.
Step 9: Slide Top Over Backrest
Slide the top of the seat pad over the backrest tube.
Step 10: Secure Front Edge
Pull the front edge of the seat pad over the music/vibration unit, then pull each side of the seat pad over the footrest wire until it fits snugly over the bouncer frame.
Step 11: Secure Seat Pad to Frame
Secure the seat pad to the frame by buckling the three straps on the back of the pad. Place the bouncer back in the upright position.
Toy Bar Installation
Position the toy bar above the bouncer. Insert the ends of the toy bar through the corresponding holes in the seat pad and into the corresponding holes on the frame.
Headrest Installation
Unfasten the fabric loop on the back of the headrest. Insert the loose end of the loop through the loop on the seat pad. Secure the headrest to the seat pad by fastening the fabric loop on the back of the headrest.
Seat Restraint (Harness)
Unbuckle the straps on each side of the seat restraint. Carefully place the child in the bouncer seat and buckle the straps. Adjust the straps so that the restraint fits the child snugly.
Care and Cleaning
Seat Pad and Headrest:
Remove the seat pad and headrest from the frame. Ensure all buckles are fastened. Machine wash on a gentle, delicate cycle with cold water. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Toy Bar and Toys:
Using a damp cloth and mild soap, wipe the toy bar and toys clean. Air dry. Do not immerse the toys or toy bar in water.
Frame:
Using a soft cloth and mild soap, wipe the frame.
Music and Vibration Unit Operation
Vibration Function:
To activate vibration, slide the vibration switch to the ON position.
Music Function:
This unit features different melodies. Slide the music switch to LOW or HIGH to activate music and select the volume.
