Assembly & Installation Instructions
- Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included as shown in the illustration.
- Make pre-installation:
- Step A1: Secure threaded pipes (P) onto the lower frame (Q) and fixture body (L) with lock nuts (M).
- Step A2: Pass fixture wires through stem (K) and screw stems (K) onto the fixture body (L).
- Step B1: Determine the correct number of chain links needed for proper hanging height. Use chain pliers to disconnect and discard unwanted parts. (Diagram shows chain links and pliers).
- Step B2: Open quick links (J). Attach quick links (J) to loops (F) on the canopy (E) and stems (K). Close quick links (J). (Diagram shows quick links being attached to loops).
- Step B3: Carefully weave the fixture wires through the chain (I), alternating links, and then pass wires through the loop (F) on the canopy (E). Gently pull wires to ensure they are not stressed. (Diagram shows wire routing through chain and canopy loop).
- Turn off power:
- Before starting installation, NEVER attempt work without shutting off electricity.
- A) Go to the main fuse or circuit breaker box and place the main power switch in the "OFF" position ?.
- B) Place the wall switch in the "OFF" position ?.
- Make installation:
- Step C1: Unscrew hex nut (H) and cap nut (I) from the single bar (C). (Diagram shows nuts being removed from a bar).
- Step C2: Attach the single bar (C) to the outlet box with mounting screws (B). Note: The side of the single bar (C) marked "GND" must face out. (Diagram shows single bar attached to outlet box).
- Step C3: If needed, shorten the length of fixture wires. Ensure remaining wire length above the single bar (C) is at least 6". (Diagram shows wires extending from the bar).
- Step C4: Make wire connections.
- Ground Wire Connection: Connect ground wires as shown. The ground wire is BARE COPPER WIRE; NEVER connect other wires to ground wires. (Diagram A and B illustrate connecting the fixture ground wire to the outlet box ground wire using a green ground screw).
- Supply Wire Connection: Connect wires according to the chart. Twist wires together with plastic wire connectors until tightly joined, and wrap each connector with approved electrical tape. Ensure no wire strands are exposed, then tuck all wires into the outlet box. (Diagram shows wire connections and a table).
Wire Connection Chart:

(Diagram shows round and ridged wires).
- Step C5: Raise canopy (E) to the ceiling and secure canopy (E) by tightening hex nut (H) and cap nut (I) onto the pre-assembled threaded nipple on single bar (C). NOTE: The canopy (E) should be snug against the ceiling. If not, adjust the threaded length of the nipple on single bar (C) by unscrewing the hex nut and then screwing the nipple in or out of single bar (C) until secure length is achieved. Tighten the hex nut. (Diagram shows canopy attachment).
- Step C6:
- Install bulbs (not included). Do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended for the socket.
- Screw glass shades (O) onto sockets (N). (Diagram shows bulb and shade installation).
- Check everything is installed properly, then turn on the light. Enjoy!
