Diagram Description
The diagram visually represents the lamp's components and wiring connections. On the left, an electrical outlet box is shown, with three wires emerging: 'Ground Wire', 'Live Wire', and 'Neutral Wire'. These connect to the fixture's corresponding wires: the 'Ground Wire' connects to the ground wire, the 'Live Wire' (typically black) connects to the black fixture wire, and the 'Neutral Wire' (typically white) connects to the white fixture wire. These connections are made using wire nuts (F). A mounting plate (D) is secured to the outlet box with screws (E). The lamp body, which contains sockets for bulbs (C), is then attached. The decorative lampshade (B), a patterned cylindrical structure, is affixed to the lamp body using screws (A). A canopy (G) is also shown, to be attached to the mounting plate using screws (H).
A note at the bottom of the diagram emphasizes that 4 screws on both sides of the lamp body must be unscrewed to remove the lampshade before installing bulbs.
