This document provides installation instructions for the TEEHO TE001 Keyless Entry Door Lock.

1. Prepare the Door and Check Dimensions
Verify door and door jamb preparation:
- Door Thickness: 1-3/8" to 2" (35mm to 50mm)
- Backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60mm or 70mm)
- Hole in Door (for exterior assembly): 2-1/8" (54mm)
- Hole in Door (for latch): 1" (25mm)
Ensure the slotted hole for the latch is centered in the door hole.

2. Choose Faceplate
Select the appropriate faceplate for your door's edge preparation.

3. Install Latch and Deadbolt
Important: Keep the latch in the unlocked position before installation.
Rotate and pull the latch to extend it. Ensure the latch is parallel to the door edge.

4. Install Exterior Assembly
Route the cable below the latch. Insert the exterior assembly into the door hole.

5. Install Interior Assembly
Important: Do not load batteries until the lock is completely installed.
Route the cable through the hole in the mounting plate. Secure the mounting plate with the supplied screws.
Note the horizontal orientation of the torque blade. Rotate the thumb turn to the vertical position and insert the torque blade into the inside escutcheon.
Secure the interior assembly with the supplied screws.

6. Detect Left/Right Hand Door Installation
Important: This step is required and crucial for the lock after installation!
While the door is open and unlocked, load 3 AA batteries into the interior assembly. Use new, non-rechargeable alkaline batteries for best results.
Press and hold the reset button on the interior assembly using the reset tool. Keep holding until you hear a long "BEEP".
Load the last battery and keep holding the reset button for 3 seconds until you hear a long "BEEP". The latch bolt will extend to learn the door orientation.
Test the lock by rotating the thumb turn to ensure the bolt extends and retracts smoothly.
