TEEHO Smart Lock Installation Instructions

This guide provides detailed instructions for installing your TEEHO smart lock. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning.
Important: Before installing the lock, check the door and prepare it according to the dimensions provided.

1. Prepare the Door and Check Dimensions
Ensure your door meets the necessary specifications for installation. This includes checking the door thickness and the backset measurement.
Door Thickness: Typically between 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" (35mm to 45mm).
Backset: Measure to confirm the backset is 2-3/8" or 2-1/4" (60mm or 70mm).
Door Hole Diameter: Measure to confirm the hole in the door is 2-1/8" (54mm).
Edge Bore Diameter: Measure to confirm the hole on the door's edge is 1" (25mm).
2. Choose Faceplate
Select the appropriate faceplate (round corner or square corner) to match your door's requirements.
3. Install Latch and Deadbolt
Install the latch into the door, ensuring the correct orientation. Secure the deadbolt with screws.
Note: If the door's edge hole is not 1" (25mm), you may need to adjust it.
4. Install Strike on the Door Frame
Attach the strike plate to the door frame. Ensure it is aligned with the latch or deadbolt.
5. Install Exterior Keypad and Lever/Keypad Assembly
Mount the exterior keypad and associated assembly onto the door. Ensure all wires are properly connected and routed through the door.
Note: For safety, choose the latch that fits your door best. If the exterior assembly is not flush, check the door preparation and adjust the spindle.
6. Install Interior Assembly
Attach the interior assembly to the exterior assembly. Connect the wire harness and insert the battery pack. Ensure the thumb turn is correctly positioned.
Note: Secure the mounting plate with the supplied screws. Insert batteries and close the cover.
7. Test Latch Operation
Test the latch operation by turning the interior thumb turn and the exterior keypad. Ensure smooth movement.
Note: Do not test the lock operation with the door open. Close the door to test the latch and deadbolt engagement.
Reverse Lock Handle
If necessary, reverse the direction of the lock handle to suit your door's swing.
- Remove the screws from the interior assembly.
- Remove the interior assembly.
- Remove the handle.
- Turn the handle 180 degrees and reinsert it.
- Reassemble the interior assembly.
Programming Instructions
Follow these instructions to program your smart lock:
Quick Set up
- Add User Code: Press "Add", enter a 4-8 digit code, press "#", then "Add" again.
- Delete User Code: Press "Delete", enter the user code to delete, press "#", then "Delete" again.
- Start Mode: Press "Start", enter the master code, press "#", then "Start" again.
- Auto Lock: Press "Auto Lock", enter the master code, press "#", then "Auto Lock" again.
- Vacation Mode: Press "Vacation", enter the master code, press "#", then "Vacation" again.
- Set Entry/Exit Time: Press "Time", enter the master code, press "#", then "Time" again.
Restore to Factory Default
Attention: All codes will be deleted. Do not reset the lock if you have not yet completed the installation. If your lock has a reset button, press and hold it for 3 seconds while installing batteries. If your lock has a reset button on the circuit board, press and hold the button for 3 seconds while installing batteries.
To reset the lock:
- Remove the battery cover.
- Press and hold the reset button (if applicable) for 3 seconds while installing batteries.
- If your lock has a reset button on the circuit board, press and hold it for 3 seconds while installing batteries.
- Replace the battery cover.
