Before Installation:
Read these instructions carefully before starting installation. Proper tools will improve the quality of installation and reduce the time required. If any parts are missing or damaged, please take a picture and contact customer support. Professional installation is highly recommended. Perform periodic checks to ensure all mounting hardware remains secure and tight.
Step 1:
Locate two mounting positions on each side of the vehicle.
Remove the factory tape and clean the dirt around the mounting positions.
Diagram Description: A long, flat metal bracket is shown with multiple mounting holes and slots. Arrows indicate direction: "Front" and "Passenger Side". Specific mounting points are highlighted with circles.
Step 2:
Insert two M8 clip nuts onto the square holes on the inner rocker panel. Ensure the clip nut is placed over the square hole and the smaller adjacent hole.
Attach the bracket to the inner rocker panel, starting with the vehicle's front side.
Secure the bracket on the rocker panel using one M8 hex bolt, one M8 lock washer, and one M8 flat washer.
Secure the bracket on the pinch weld using one M8 hex bolt, one M8 lock washer, and two M8 flat washers, and one M8 hex nut.
Diagram Description: The top-right image shows two M8 clip nuts. One is shown inserted into a square hole on a vehicle panel, demonstrating its engagement. The middle-right image illustrates a bracket being attached to the vehicle's rocker panel. The bottom-right image depicts a bracket being secured to the vehicle's pinch weld.
Step 3:
In the same mounting position, attach another bracket to the mounting hole adjacent to the first bracket.
Secure this bracket on the rocker panel using one M8 hex bolt, one M8 lock washer, and one M8 flat washer.
Secure this bracket on the pinch weld using one M8 hex bolt, one M8 lock washer, two M8 flat washers, and one M8 hex nut.
Repeat Step 2 and Step 3 to install all remaining brackets.
Step 4:
Remove eight M8 hex bolts and eight M8 flat washers from the step bar.
Slide the mounting tracks on the step bar to their proper positions.
With assistance, lift and attach the step bar to the previously installed brackets.
Secure the step bar onto the brackets using eight M8 hex bolts and eight M8 flat washers. Do not fully tighten at this stage.
Repeat this process to install the step bar on the other side of the vehicle.
Diagram Description: The top-right image shows the step bar being attached to the brackets, with its mounting tracks aligning with the brackets. The bottom-right image shows the vehicle's side step bar with its mounting tracks, with arrows indicating "Front" and "Passenger Side".
Step 5:
Tighten all M8 hex bolts and nuts on the vehicle to 15 ft-lbs. torque.
Adjust the step bar to ensure it is level, then tighten the M8 hex bolts to 15 ft-lbs. torque.
After the step bar is installed, perform periodic checks to ensure all mounting hardware remains secure and tight.
