Teleco BST11 / BST11C Bridge
Product Codes: BST11 (916MHz), BST11C (916MHz)
Frequency: 433.42 MHz RTS to 916 MHz TVLINK
Product Overview
The Teleco BST11 Bridge allows association of up to 16 Somfy RTS transmitters (433.42 MHz) with up to 7 Teleco 916 MHz TVLINK receivers. It is suitable for existing RTS installations, including outdoor use (IP54 rated).
Diagram 1: Shows the BST11C with its power supply cable, input from a Somfy RTS transmitter (433.42 MHz), and output to a Teleco TVLINK protocol.
Dimensions and Materials
The product is made of Thermoplastic ABS and is not suitable for direct UV exposure.
Diagram 2: Illustrates the dimensions of the BST11/BST11C unit, showing lengths of 115 mm, 65 mm, 25 mm, and 15 mm.
The product must be fixed vertically with the cable gland pointing downwards to ensure IP54 rating.
Layout and Function
The BST11 features several programming buttons (P1, P2, P3) and indicator LEDs.
- P1: RTS transmitter memorization (LIGHT controls).
- P2: Transmitter (1-7) selection. The corresponding LED indicates the selected transmitter.
- P3: RTS transmitter memorization (LIGHT controls).
It is possible to associate multiple RTS transmitters of the same type within the same TVLINK group. However, mixing different types of controls (e.g., MOTORS and LIGHT) within the same group is not permitted and will result in an error sound.
Diagram 3: Shows the button layout (P1, P2, P3) and the LED indicators for selected transmitters (1-7). It also depicts the 24Vdc input connection.
Motor Memorization (Section 2.1)
This section details the process of memorizing RTS transmitters into the BST bridge.
- Automatic Commands (3 Buttons): Use P2 to select the transmitter, then P3 (one or two times depending on type A or B) and keep pressed. Press any button on the RTS transmitter to associate.
- 7 Channels: Similar procedure using P2 to select the transmitter and P3 for memorization.
Memorizing Teleco Virtual Transmitters: Refer to the Teleco receiver's manual for specific procedures. Use any key from the already memorized RTS transmitter when prompted.
Diagram 4: Illustrates the steps for motor memorization, showing button presses and expected sounds (continuous or intermittent).
Light Memorization (Section 2.2)
This section covers memorizing RTS transmitters for light controls.
- RGB Light (4 Colors / 7 Channels): Memorization procedure similar to motor controls, using P2 and P3.
- RGB Light (Color Cycle / 7 Channels): Memorization procedure similar to motor controls, using P2 and P3.
- One Colour Light (7 Channels): Memorization procedure similar to motor controls, using P2 and P3.
Memorizing Teleco Virtual Transmitters: Refer to the Teleco receiver's manual. Use any key from the already memorized RTS transmitter when prompted.
Diagram 5: Shows the different light control types (RGB, single color) and the associated memorization steps.
Remote Operations (Sections 2.3 & 2.4)
- Remote Memorization: A new RTS transmitter can be memorized remotely from an already memorized transmitter. This involves a timed sequence (5 seconds) and specific button presses, indicated by continuous or intermittent sounds.
- Remote Deletion: Associations between RTS and Teleco virtual transmitters can be deleted remotely. This requires pressing the 'Prog' button three times (x3) followed by a timed sequence.
Diagram 6: Depicts the remote memorization process, showing the sequence of button presses and sound indicators.
Diagram 7: Illustrates the remote deletion process, including the 'to delete' prompt and sound indicators.
Deleting All Associations (Section 2.5)
All associations between RTS transmitters and the bridge can be deleted by pressing and holding the P1 button (x4, for 10 seconds). This is confirmed by an intermittent sound followed by a continuous sound.
Diagram 8: Shows the procedure for deleting all associations, highlighting the button press duration and resulting sounds.

Warnings and Compliance
General Warnings: Installation must be performed by qualified personnel. Use only 24Vdc power supply and appropriate materials for connections. Ensure all required safety devices are installed. Avoid installing in areas sensitive to radio emissions or where the product may be covered by metal parts. If range issues occur, install the device at a higher location.
FCC Compliance: This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: no harmful interference caused, and acceptance of any interference received. Limits are set for reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. The equipment generates and radiates RF energy and may cause interference if not installed correctly. Users are encouraged to correct interference by reorienting antennas, increasing separation, connecting to a different circuit, or consulting a dealer. Complies with FCC radiation exposure limits for uncontrolled environments; maintain at least 20cm distance from the radiator.
IC Compliance: This device contains licence-exempt transmitters/receivers complying with Industry Canada's licence-exempt RSS(s). Operation is subject to two conditions: no interference caused, and acceptance of any interference. Complies with IC RF radiation exposure limits for uncontrolled environments; maintain at least 20cm distance from the radiator.
