Type: TVMIO868
Product Description
The TVMIO868 is a UHF band transmitter with a PLL-controlled carrier frequency. It is used for controlling domestic devices, automatic openings, ON/OFF light control, dimming, etc. The transmitted signal is a rolling code type to ensure maximum secrecy. The transmitter code can be stored in the receiver directly or via radio from the transmitter. This allows new transmitters to be added to an existing system without needing to access the receiver. The operation can be performed by the end user without installer intervention. The code is stored in the receiver's EEPROM memory, which retains the information even in case of temporary power interruption.
Safety Rules
- Keep this manual transmitter out of the reach of children and animals.
- Do not use the manual transmitter in places or where systems are sensitive to radio emissions (e.g., airports, hospitals).
- Do not keep or use the manual transmitter in places that are damp, where there is steam, high air humidity, dust, or where it is exposed to direct sunlight or similar environmental conditions.
- Do not let the manual transmitter drop, as it could be damaged or its range of action reduced.
Usage
- The operator is not protected against interference from other telecommunication equipment or systems (e.g., authorized radio systems operating on the same frequency range).
- If experiencing problems with the range of action, fix the manual transmitter in a raised position (e.g., under the sunshade in a car). Change the battery if necessary.
- Do not use your nails to press the keys, as they could be damaged.
Battery Replacement
Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Call a doctor immediately if a battery is swallowed.
There is an explosion hazard if the battery is substituted incorrectly. Replace the battery with a CR2032 type battery only.
Always wrap the battery up, both when storing and disposing of it. The battery should not come into contact with other metal objects, as this could cause it to run down, catch fire, or be damaged.
Dispose of damaged or finished batteries immediately in compliance with the law. Contact the authorities for environmental protection or your local waste disposal center. Do not throw the battery away with household rubbish.
- Remove the screw on the back.
- Open the lid.
- Take the old batteries out and put the new ones in the same way. Pay attention to correct polarity (+/-)!
- Close the transmitter with the screw.
Guarantee
The guarantee complies with the law. Refer to the specialized retailer for any warranty services. The right to the guarantee is applicable only for the country in which the manual transmitter was purchased. Batteries are not covered by the guarantee.
How to Store a Transmitter via Radio Without Accessing the Receiver
Press the internal key P3 of a previously stored transmitter; the enabled receiver emits a continuous sound for 5 seconds.
Within 5 seconds, transmit a channel that is already stored in the receiver's memory, into which the new code is to be memorized. The buzzer will interrupt the sound for 1 second, then continue for another 5 seconds.
Within 5 seconds, transmit the new channel to be stored. Successful storage is indicated by intermittent buzzing.
Declaration of Conformity to EU Directives
The manufacturer, Teleco Automation s.r.l., declares that the radio equipment type is compliant with Directive 2014/53/EU. The full text of the EU compliance declaration is available at: www.telecoautomation.com/ce
Technical Data
The transmitters are coded directly by the manufacturer with a different code for each transmitter.
