Teleco TV PRT 868 A01 Tubular Motor Receiver

Application

The TV PRT 868 A01 receiver features 2 output contacts for controlling rolling shutters equipped with tubular motors with limit switches. Its special housing design allows for integration close to the motor. The opening/closing time is limited to 90 seconds.

Addressing

The open/close function can be directly paired with one or more 2 or 4-channel transmitters. Control is always performed using one or more channel pairs (one for open/stop-close and the other for close/stop-open). Transmitters can also be paired remotely without needing to access the receiver's housing via a telecoding function. When the receiver is used with TVLink, addressing is done by entering an 8-digit code into the TVLink memory.

MODE D'EMPLOI (Instructions)

1. ATTENTION

This receiver must be installed exclusively by a qualified technician, respecting current standards in the automated closures sector. All connections must be made according to a single-phase 230 V general power supply. It is necessary to use connection materials that guarantee insulation conforming to current electrical safety standards. The transmitter/receiver performs radio commands; all safety devices necessary for the installation must be provided separately. Radio reception of the device can be disturbed by several factors, such as: radio-electrical disturbances created by other devices transmitting on the same frequency band, or if the device is located in a housing with metallic parts. Plastic housings must be used exclusively.

2. Description

Superheterodyne remote controls with UHF band range controlled by a PLL are used for the remote control of electric or electronic gate openers, in compliance with current safety standards. It is impossible to copy the rolling code signal emitted. This receiver can be controlled either by standard remote controls or directly by commands sent by TVLink. TVLink system codes are established directly by the manufacturer in an EEPROM memory that retains information even during power outages. These codes, found on the device label for input into TVLink, cannot be erased or modified as they are an integral part of the receiver. The programming mode can be activated either directly in the receiver or via the transmitter. The latter option allows programming new transmitters in an existing system using a previously paired transmitter, for example, when the receiver is difficult to access. The user can easily pair it without the installer's help. The transmitter code is programmed into the receiver's EEPROM memory, where data is maintained even during a power interruption.

3. Compatible Transmitters for Control without TVLink

Remarks: Each transmitter channel has its own code. If the transmitter button is pressed for more than 30 seconds, the emitted signal is automatically interrupted.

4. Channel Assignment on Transmitters

Diagrams show channel assignments for TV TXP and TV TXL transmitters. The different channels on the transmitters always control the corresponding channels of the receivers.

5. Programming a Transmitter without Using TVLink

If you are no longer sure of the memorized transmitters, it is recommended to completely erase the receiver's memory (see 5.3.).

Note: For a command to be considered valid, each button press must produce an audible beep. Once this beep is heard, the button can be released if necessary.

5.1. Memorizing a First Transmitter

Press and hold the receiver's P2 button. A continuous beep signals programming mode. Press the button of the transmitter channel to be memorized. The beep becomes intermittent, signaling memorization. Release P2. Repeat the procedure for all channels to be memorized.

5.2. From an Already Programmed Transmitter, it is Possible to Program Any Other Channel or Transmitter

Open the housing of the already memorized transmitter (if necessary). Briefly press the P3 button. A continuous 5-second beep signals programming mode. While the beep is present, briefly press a button of a channel already programmed. The beep stops and resumes. Then, press the button of a channel to be programmed (on the same transmitter or another). An intermittent beep signals memorization. Proceed in the same way for all channels to be memorized (maximum 85).

5.3. Complete Erasure of All Memorized Codes

Briefly press the receiver's P2 button 3 times and hold it down. For 10 seconds, an intermittent beep signals ongoing erasure. When the beep becomes continuous, release P2. The codes are erased, and the memory is empty.

5.4. Remote Code Erasure

Open the transmitter housing to be erased (if necessary). Press P3 three times in succession within a maximum of 5 seconds. A slow intermittent beep signals erasure mode. Press the button of the channel to be erased. A 3-second beep signals code erasure. Proceed in the same way for other codes to be erased.

5.5. Code Erasure

Briefly press the receiver's P2 button twice and hold it down. An intermittent beep signals that the receiver is ready for erasure. Press the button of the channel to be erased. A continuous beep signals erasure. Release P2. Proceed in the same way if other codes need to be erased.

Remark: If a code cannot be memorized, it may already be memorized, or the memory is full (maximum 64 codes are possible).

6. Programming a Transmitter Using TVLink

Please refer to the transmitter memorization procedure described in the TVLink user manual.
