Assembly Instructions

Playard Assembly

ATTENTION: Playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using other accessories.

  1. Unzip the carry bag and remove the Playard frame. Undo the fastening straps and set the mattress aside. Do not push the center down yet.
  2. Ensure all four (4) top rails are fully erected before lowering the center. Pull up one rail at a time, holding each side of the rail, and pull sharply upwards. Avoid pulling from the middle where the center latch release is located. Ensure both tubes latch securely and each rail is rigid. The center must be raised while locking the rails. If one rail locks but the other does not, unlock the rail by squeezing the release in the center and try again.
  3. Once all four top rails are locked, push down on the center handle. The center mechanism will rotate 90 degrees clockwise and automatically lock. Test each top rail by pushing down slightly to confirm it is rigid and securely in place before use.
  4. Place the mattress on the floor of the playard with the padded side facing up.
  5. Insert the hook and loop fastener located on the underside of the mattress through the slots in the floor of each end of the playard. Fasten the straps to the underside of the playard floor to prevent the mattress from moving. The center handle must remain raised while locking the side rails.
  6. To operate the brakes on the wheels, press downward on the brake levers. To release, lift upward on the lever.

Folding the Playard

  1. Release the hook and loop fastener holding the mattress from underneath the playard floor or bassinet. Set the mattress aside. Do not unlock top rails yet; the center of the floor must be raised before top rails will unlock.
  2. Rotate the center handle counter-clockwise 90 degrees and raise the center as high as the top rails. Gather the legs and wheels together towards the center as close as possible.
  3. Locate the rail latch release in the center and bottom side of each rail. Squeeze the lever with two hands until the rail releases the two tubes, then push down. NOTE: If top rails do not release completely, DO NOT FORCE. Lift the center of the floor higher. Both tubes must be released for the top rail to fold.
  4. Gather the four corners and center all together tightly. Wrap the mattress around the playard frame with the padded side facing inward.
  5. Secure the hook and loop straps by feeding them through the loops on the end of the mattress and folding them back onto themselves. Place the folded playard into the carry bag so that the handle comes through the opening between each side of the zipper.

Bassinet Assembly

ATTENTION: Playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the bassinet feature. You will need to remove the mattress from the bottom of the playard to use inside your bassinet.

  1. Connect opposing mattress support tubes that are attached to the bottom of the bassinet. Before placing the mattress into the bassinet, ensure mattress support tubes are connected.
  2. Position the bassinet over and down into the fully assembled playard. Secure in place by pushing down firmly on each plastic support clip until all are snapped into place.
  3. Place the mattress into the bassinet with the padded side facing upward. Fasten tabs underneath the mattress to secure it in place.

Removing the Bassinet

  • Remove mattress from bassinet. Remove canopy. Disconnect opposing mattress support tubes. Unsnap all clips and lift bassinet.

Canopy Assembly

NOTE: If the canopy is "U" shape, assemble it before attaching to the playard. If "C" shape, skip to step 15.

  1. Open canopy as seen in the figure. Make opening adjustments at the top of the canopy by aligning the inner center strap with the two outer straps. Open canopy completely and feel the top center to ensure straps are aligned correctly so the canopy fits the playard.
  2. Position canopy in the center of the playard. Attach each side of the canopy by firmly pressing canopy clips onto the center of the top rails. Attach the other end of the canopy to the playard by snapping the two buttons or hook and loop fastener located near each corner.

Removing the Canopy

  • Unsnap the canopy and pull upward on the ends of the canopy from the side of the playard.

Changing Table Assembly

ATTENTION: Playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the changing table feature.

  1. Connect the two long curved bars together. Insert the assembled curved bars into the changing table fabric, sliding them inside the sleeve.
  2. Connect the two short bars to each end of the long curved bars, ensuring the knobs face down and in the same direction.
  3. Insert connector knob prongs into holes located on both corners of the playard. Turn the connector knobs counter-clockwise to lock.
  4. Flip the changing table over onto the playard. Snap the two buttons on the flap down onto the playard.
  5. Secure the changing table to the playard frame by fastening the straps on the underside of the changing table to the side rails of the playard frame.

Changing Table Restraint System

Place child on changing table, ensuring hands and arms are clear of the restraint. Bring the restraint around the child's waist and clip the buckle ends together. Tighten strap until snug, but do not over-tighten. To remove, unsnap the buckle.

ATTENTION: NEVER use the changing table if it is damaged or broken.

Removing the Changing Table

  • Flip the changing table to the outside of the playard. Unsnap the fabric flap from the playard. Twist connector knobs clockwise to unlock. Remove the changing table from the playard and disconnect the short bars from the curved bar by pressing snap buttons and pulling apart. Remove the curved bar from the changing table sleeve.

Parent Organizer / Diaper Stacker Assembly

NOTE: Can only be installed on open sides of the playard where clips attach easily without interfering with other features.

  1. Parent Organizer: Position each hook so the hooked end faces the rear. Press hook firmly into the slot until it snaps into place.
  2. Diaper Stacker: Skip to step 2.
  3. Connect the parent organizer/diaper stacker to the playard by sliding the two connecting clips over an open portion of the top rail.

Mobile Assembly

ATTENTION: A crib mobile is for visual stimulation, not for grasping. Remove when baby begins to push up on hands and knees. Mount on wall or ceiling out of reach if designed for it. Always attach all provided fasteners tightly. Check frequently. DO NOT add extra strings or straps. DO NOT attach the mobile with child in playard or bassinet.

  1. Attach the mobile to the tri-shaped arm, aligning slots on both pieces and pressing them together.
  2. Attach the mobile to the canopy using the hook and loop fastener, connecting straps through the hole in the mobile housing.

Music Center Operation

The Music Center is designed to attach to the playard's long rail. It requires 4 AA batteries.

  • Music: Press the MUSIC button to play music and change songs.
  • Nature Sounds: Press the NATURE button to play nature sounds and change sounds.
  • Sleep Music: Press the SLEEP button to play sleep music and change songs.
  • Volume Control: Two buttons control the unit's volume.
  • Vibration: Press the VIBRATION button to activate vibration. Press again for faster speed, and again to reduce speed.
  • Night Light: Press the NIGHT LIGHT button to activate the night light.
