Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Playard Frame

Unzip the carry bag and remove the Playard frame. Undo the fasten straps and set the Mattress aside. Do not push the center down yet.

Figure 1 shows the playard frame being removed from the bag.

Step 2: Erect Top Rails

Top rails must be fully erected before lowering the center. Pull up one rail at a time, holding each side of the rail, and pull up sharply. Do not pull from the middle where the center latch release is located. Ensure both tubes latch in place and each rail is rigid.

Figure 2 illustrates pulling up the top rails and ensuring they are locked.

IMPORTANT: The center must be raised while locking the rails. If one rail locks but the other does not, unlock the rail by squeezing the release in the center and try again.

Step 3: Lower Center and Secure Rails

Once all four top rails are locked in place, push down on the center handle. The center mechanism will rotate 90 degrees clockwise and automatically lock in place.

Figure 3a shows pushing down the center handle. Figure 3b shows testing the rigidity of the top rails.

IMPORTANT: Test each top rail by pushing down slightly to confirm it is rigid and securely in place before use.

Step 4: Place Mattress

Place the Mattress on the floor of the Playard with the padded side facing up.

Figure 4 shows the mattress being placed on the playard floor.

Step 5: Secure Mattress

Insert the Velcro® straps located on the underside of the Mattress through the slots in the floor of each end of the Playard. Fasten the hook and loop straps to the underside of the Playard floor to prevent the Mattress from moving.

Figure 5a illustrates inserting the Velcro straps through the floor slots. Figure 5b shows the straps fastened to the underside of the playard floor.

IMPORTANT: The center handle must remain raised while locking the side rails. If the center is not raised, the rails will not lock. If you experience difficulty, contact Customer Service.

Step 6: Operate Brakes

To operate the brakes on the Wheels, press downward on the brake levers. To release, lift upward on the lever.

Figure 6 shows operating the brake levers.

Step 7: Fold Playard

Release the Velcro® straps holding the Mattress from underneath the Playard floor or Bassinet and set the mattress aside. Do not unlock top rails yet; the center of the floor must be raised before top rails will unlock. Rotate the center handle counter-clockwise 90 degrees and raise the center as high as the top rails. Gather the Legs and Wheels together towards the center.

Figure 7 illustrates rotating the center handle and gathering the legs and wheels.

Step 8: Unlock Top Rails

Locate the rail latch release in the center and bottom side of each rail. Squeeze the lever with two hands until the rail releases the two tubes, then push down.

Figure 8a shows squeezing the rail latch release. Figure 8b shows pushing down the rail.

NOTE: If top rails do not release completely, DO NOT FORCE. Lift the center of the floor higher. Both tubes must be released for the top rail to fold.

Step 9: Gather and Wrap Mattress

Gather the four corners and center them tightly. Wrap the Mattress around the Playard frame with the padded side facing inward.

Figure 9 shows gathering the corners and wrapping the mattress.

Step 10: Secure Mattress in Carry Bag

Secure the hooks and loop straps by feeding them through the loops on the end of the Mattress and folding them back onto themselves. Place the folded Playard into the carry bag so that the handle comes through the opening between each side of the zipper.

Figure 10 illustrates securing the straps and placing the playard into the carry bag.

Step 11: Assemble Bassinet

Position the Bassinet over and down into the fully assembled Playard. Secure in place by pushing down firmly on each plastic support clip until all are snapped into place.

Figure 11 shows positioning and securing the bassinet.

Step 12: Attach Mattress Support Tubes

These tubes must be lined up with the holes in the front frame assembly. Insert both assembled Mattress Support Tubes into the loops provided on the bottom of the Bassinet.

Figure 12a shows lining up tubes with frame holes. Figure 12b shows inserting tubes into bassinet loops.

Step 13: Place Mattress in Bassinet

Place the Mattress into the Bassinet with the padded side facing upward. Fasten tabs underneath the Mattress to secure it in place.

Figure 13 shows placing the mattress into the bassinet.

Step 14: Assemble Canopy

Open Canopy as seen in Figure 14b. Adjust the top opening by aligning the inner center strap with the two outer straps (Figure 14c). Open Canopy completely and ensure straps are aligned correctly so the Canopy fits on the Playard (Figure 14d).

Figures 14a, 14b, 14c, and 14d illustrate canopy assembly and alignment.

Note: If the Canopy is "U" shape, assemble it. If "C" shape, skip to step 15.

Step 15: Attach Canopy to Playard

Position Canopy in the center of Playard. Attach each side of Canopy by firmly pressing Canopy clips onto the center of the top rails. Attach the other end of the Canopy to the Playard by snapping the two buttons or velcro located near each corner.

Figure 15a shows attaching canopy clips to rails. Figure 15b shows attaching canopy to playard corners.

Step 16: Assemble Changing Table

Connect the two Long Curved Bars together. Insert the assembled curved bars into the Changing Table fabric, sliding them around inside the sleeve. Connect the two Short Bars to each end of the Long Curved Bar, ensuring knobs face down and in the same direction.

Figures 16a through 16d illustrate the assembly of the changing table bars.

Step 17: Attach Changing Table to Playard

Insert Connector Knob Prongs into holes on both corners of the Playard. Turn Connector Knobs counter-clockwise to lock. Flip Changing Table onto Playard and snap the two buttons on the flap down onto the Playard.

Figures 17a through 17d show the process of attaching the changing table.

Step 18: Secure Changing Table

Locate the velcro straps on the bottom of the changing table and on the inside of the playard side rails. Secure the changing table to the playard frame by fastening these straps. Check that the Changing Table is correctly and securely installed BEFORE each use.

Figure 18 shows locating velcro straps. Figure 20 shows securing the changing table with straps.

Step 19: Flip Changing Table Up

Flip the changing table into its upper position.

Figure 19 illustrates flipping the changing table upwards.

Step 20: Use Changing Table Restraint System

Place child on changing table, ensuring hands and arms are clear of the restraint. Bring the restraint around the child's waist and clip the male and female ends of the buckle together. Tighten strap until snug, but do not over-tighten.

Figure 21a shows securing the child with the restraint. Figure 21b shows tightening the strap.

ATTENTION: NEVER use changing table if it is damaged or broken.

Step 21: Remove Changing Table

Flip Changing Table to the outside of the Playard. Unsnap fabric flap. Twist Connector Knobs clockwise to unlock. Remove Changing Table from Playard and disconnect bars.

Figure 22a shows flipping the table and unsnapping. Figure 22b shows the removed changing table.

Step 22: Assemble Parent Organizer / Diaper Stacker

For Parent Organizer: Position each hook facing the rear. Press hook firmly into slot until it snaps. For Diaper Stacker: Skip to step 2. Connect the Parent Organizer/Diaper Stacker to the Playard by sliding the connecting clips over an open portion of the top rail.

Figure 23a shows positioning the organizer hook. Figure 23b shows connecting the organizer/stacker to the playard.

NOTE: Organizer/Stacker can only be installed on open sides where clips attach easily without interfering with other features.

Step 23: Assemble Mobile

Attach the Mobile to the Tri-shaped Arm, aligning slots and pressing pieces together. Attach the Mobile to Canopy using Velcro and connecting straps through the hole in the top of the Mobile housing.

Figure 24 shows attaching the mobile to the arm. Figure 25 shows attaching the mobile to the canopy.

ATTENTION: A crib mobile is for visual stimulation, not grasping. Remove when baby pushes up. Mount securely away from reach. Check fasteners frequently. DO NOT add extra strings. DO NOT attach mobile with child in playard or bassinet.

Step 24: Music Center Operation

The Music Center is designed to attach to the playard's long rail. It requires 4 AA batteries. Unscrew battery door, install batteries, and re-secure door.

Figure 26 shows the music center attachment point. Figure 27 shows battery installation.
