Assembly Instructions
Playard Assembly
ATTENTION: The playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using other accessories.
- Unzip the carry bag and remove the playard frame. Undo the fasten straps and set the mattress aside. DO NOT push the center down yet.
- Erect all four (4) top rails. Pull up one rail at a time, holding each side, and pull sharply upwards. Do not pull from the middle where the center latch release is located. Ensure both tubes latch securely and each rail is rigid.
- Once all four top rails are locked, push down on the center handle. The center mechanism will rotate 90 degrees clockwise and lock automatically. IMPORTANT: Test each top rail by pushing down slightly to confirm it is rigid and secure before use.
- Place the mattress on the playard floor with the padded side facing up.
- Secure the mattress to the playard floor by inserting the hook and loop fastener straps through the slots on the underside of the playard floor. Ensure the center handle remains raised while locking the side rails. If the center is not raised, the rails will not lock. If you have difficulty, contact customer service.
- To operate the brakes on the wheels, press downward on the brake levers. To release, lift upward on the lever.
Folding the Playard
- Release the hook and loop fastener holding the mattress from underneath the playard floor. Set the mattress aside.
- DO NOT unlock top rails yet; the center of the floor must be raised before top rails will unlock.
- Rotate the center handle counter-clockwise 90 degrees and raise the center as high as the top rails. Gather the legs and wheels together towards the center as close as possible.
- Locate the rail latch release in the center and bottom side of each rail. Squeeze the lever with two hands until the rail releases the two tubes, then push down. NOTE: If top rails do not release completely, DO NOT FORCE! Lift the center of the floor higher. Both tubes must be released for the top rail to fold.
- Gather the four (4) corners and center them tightly. Wrap the mattress around the playard frame with the padded side facing inward.
- Secure the hook and loop straps by feeding them through the loops on the end of the mattress and folding them back onto themselves. Place the folded playard into the carry bag so the handle comes through the opening between the zipper sides.
Bassinet Assembly
ATTENTION: The playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the bassinet feature. You will need to remove the mattress from the bottom of the playard to use inside your bassinet.
- Connect opposing mattress support tubes that are attached to the bottom of the bassinet. Ensure tubes are connected as shown in the figures.
- Position the bassinet over and down into the fully assembled playard. Secure in place by pushing down firmly on each plastic support clip until all are snapped into place.
- Place the mattress into the bassinet with the padded side facing upward. Fasten tabs underneath the mattress to secure it in place.
Removing the Bassinet
- Remove the mattress from the bassinet.
- Remove the canopy.
- Disconnect opposing mattress support tubes.
- Unsnap all clips and lift the bassinet.
Canopy Assembly
NOTE: If the canopy is a "U" shape, assemble it before attaching to the playard. If it is a "C" shape, skip to the next step.
- Open the canopy. Adjust the opening at the top by aligning the inner center strap with the two outer straps. Ensure straps are aligned correctly for a proper fit.
- Position the canopy in the center of the playard. Attach each side of the canopy by pressing the clips onto the center of the top rails. Attach the other end of the canopy to the playard by snapping the buttons or hook and loop fasteners located near each corner.
Removing the Canopy
- Unsnap the canopy and pull upward on the ends from the side of the playard.
Changing Table Assembly
WARNING FALL HAZARD: To prevent death or serious injury, always keep child within arm's reach. Always use restraint belt to prevent falls. See page 10 for details.
ATTENTION: The playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the changing table feature.
- Connect the two long curved bars together. Insert the assembled curved bars into the changing table fabric sleeves.
- Connect the two short bars to each end of the long curved bars. Ensure knobs face downward and in the same direction.
- Insert the connector knob prongs into the holes located on both corners of the playard. Turn the connector knobs counter-clockwise to lock them into place.
- Flip the changing table over onto the playard. Snap the two buttons on the flap down onto the playard.
- Locate the hook and loop fastener on the bottom of the changing table and on the inside of the playard side rails.
- Flip the changing table into its upper position.
- Secure the changing table to the playard frame by fastening the straps on the underside of the changing table to the side rails of the playard frame.
Using the Changing Table Restraint System
- Place the child on the changing table, ensuring hands and arms are clear of the restraint. Bring the restraint around the child's waist and clip the buckle ends together.
- Tighten the strap snugly around the child's waist. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
- To remove the restraint, unsnap the buckle. ATTENTION: NEVER use the changing table if it is damaged or broken.
Removing the Changing Table
- Flip the changing table to the outside of the playard. Unsnap the fabric flap from the playard. Twist connector knobs clockwise to unlock.
- Remove the changing table from the playard. Disconnect the short bars from the curved bar by pressing the snap buttons and pulling apart. Remove the curved bar from the changing table sleeve.
Parent Organizer / Diaper Stacker Assembly
NOTE: The parent organizer/diaper stacker can only be installed on open sides of the playard where connecting clips can easily attach without interfering with other features.
- Parent Organizer: Position each hook so the hooked end faces the rear of the organizer. Press the hook firmly into the slot until it snaps into place.
- Diaper Stacker: Skip to step 2.
- Connect the parent organizer/diaper stacker to the playard by sliding the two connecting clips over an open portion of the top rail.
Mobile Assembly
ATTENTION: A crib mobile is for visual stimulation only and not to be grasped by the child. Remove the mobile when the baby begins to push up on hands and knees. If designed for wall mounting, install out of reach. Always attach all fasteners tightly and check frequently. DO NOT add extra strings or straps. DO NOT attach the mobile with a child in the playard or bassinet.
- Attach the mobile (a) to the tri-shaped arm (b), aligning slots and gently pressing pieces together.
- Attach the mobile to the canopy using the hook and loop fastener and connecting the straps through the hole in the mobile housing.
- Attach the music center to the playard's long rail (see Figure 26).
