Assembly Instructions
Playard Assembly
- Unzip the bag and remove the Playard frame. Undo the fasten straps and set the mattress aside. DO NOT push the center down yet. [Diagram 1 shows this step.]
- Erect the top rails one at a time. Pull up sharply, holding each side of the rail. Ensure both tubes latch in place and each rail is rigid. The center must be raised while locking the rails. If one rail locks but the other does not, unlock the rail by squeezing the center release and try again. [Diagram 2 illustrates rail locking.]
- Once all four top rails are locked, push down on the center handle to automatically lock the center mechanism. Test each top rail by pushing down slightly to confirm rigidity. [Diagrams 3a and 3b show center locking and testing.]
- Place the mattress on the floor of the playard with the padded side facing up. [Diagram 4 shows mattress placement.]
- Secure the mattress to the playard floor using the hook and loop fasteners located on the underside of the mattress and through the slots in the playard floor. Ensure the center handle remains raised while locking the side rails. [Diagrams 5a and 5b illustrate securing the mattress.]
- Operate the brakes on the wheels by pressing down on the brake levers. To release, lift upward on the lever. [Diagram 6 shows brake operation.]
- Folding the Playard: Release the hook and loop fastener holding the mattress. Do not unlock top rails yet; the center of the floor must be raised first. Rotate the center handle counter-clockwise 90 degrees and raise the center as high as the top rails. Gather the legs and wheels together towards the center. [Diagram 7 shows rotating the center handle.]
- Locate the rail latch release in the center and bottom of each rail. Squeeze the lever with two hands until the rail releases the two tubes, then push down. NOTE: If top rails do not release completely, DO NOT FORCE! Lift the center of the floor higher. Both tubes must be released for the top rail to fold. [Diagrams 8a and 8b show rail release.]
- Gather the four corners and center them tightly. Wrap the mattress around the playard frame with the padded side facing inward.
- Secure the hook and loop straps by feeding them through the loops on the end of the mattress and folding them back onto themselves. Place the folded playard into the carry bag. [Diagram 10 shows securing straps.]
Bassinet Assembly
ATTENTION: Playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the bassinet feature.
- Connect the opposing Mattress Support Tubes that are attached to the bottom of the Bassinet. Ensure tubes are connected as shown. [Diagrams 11a and 11b illustrate this.]
- Position the Bassinet over and down into the fully assembled Playard. Secure in place by pushing down firmly on each plastic support clip until all are snapped into place. [Diagram 12 shows bassinet placement.]
- Place the mattress into the Bassinet with the padded side facing upward. Fasten tabs underneath the mattress to secure it in place. [Diagram 13 shows mattress placement in bassinet.]
To Remove Bassinet: Remove mattress, canopy, disconnect mattress support tubes, unsnap all clips, and lift bassinet.
Canopy Assembly
NOTE: If the equipped Canopy comes in "U" shape, assemble it before attaching to the playard. If it comes in "C" shape, skip to step 15.
- Open Canopy as seen in Figure 14b, adjusting the opening by aligning the inner center strap with the two outer straps. Ensure straps are aligned correctly so the canopy fits the playard. [Diagrams 14b, 14c, 14d illustrate canopy adjustment.]
- Position the Canopy in the center of the Playard. Attach each side of the Canopy by pressing clips onto the center of the top rails. Attach the other end of the Canopy to the playard by snapping buttons or hook and loop fasteners near each corner. [Diagrams 15a and 15b show canopy attachment.]
To Remove Canopy: Unsnap the Canopy and pull upward from the sides.
Changing Table Assembly
ATTENTION: Playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the changing table feature.
- Connect the two (2) Long Curved Bars together. Insert the assembled bars into the changing table fabric sleeve.
- Connect the two (2) Short Bars to each end of the Long Curved Bar, ensuring knobs face down and in the same direction. [Diagrams 16a-16d show these connections.]
- Insert Connector Knob Prongs into holes on both corners of the Playard. Turn knobs counter-clockwise to lock. [Diagrams 17a and 17b show this.]
- Flip the Changing Table up into its upper position and secure it to the playard frame using the hook and loop fasteners. [Diagrams 17c and 17d show securing the table.]
- To Use Changing Table Restraint System: Place child on changing table, ensure hands and arms are clear. Bring restraint around child's waist and clip buckle ends together. Tighten strap snugly but do not over-tighten. [Diagrams 21a and 21b show restraint use.]
- To Remove Changing Table: Flip table outside playard, unsnap fabric flap, twist connector knobs clockwise to unlock. Remove table from playard and disconnect bars. [Diagrams 22a and 22b illustrate removal.]
Parent Organizer / Diaper Stacker Assembly
- Position organizer hooks as shown.
- Connect the organizer/stacker to the playard by sliding the connecting clips over an open portion of the top rail. [Diagrams 23a and 23b show this.]
Note: The Parent Organizer/Diaper Stacker can only be installed on open sides where clips can attach without interfering with other features.
Mobile Assembly
ATTENTION: A crib mobile is intended for visual stimulation and not to be grasped by the child. Remove when baby begins to push up on hands and knees. Mount on wall or ceiling if designed for it, out of reach. Attach all fasteners tightly. Check frequently. DO NOT add additional strings. DO NOT attach mobile with child in playard or bassinet.
- Attach the Mobile to the Tri-shaped Arm, aligning slots and pressing pieces together. [Diagram 24 illustrates this.]
- Attach the Mobile to the Canopy using the hook and loop fastener and connecting straps through the mobile housing hole. [Diagram 25 shows this.]
