Product Overview

The JA-115M is a component of the JABLOTRON system designed to detect the opening of doors, windows, and other openings. It provides status feedback, reporting activation and deactivation. Installation is intended for trained technicians with valid Jablotron certification.

Compatibility: The detector is compatible with Jablotron control panels including JA-14K, JA-100K, JA-101K, JA-106K, JA-103K, JA-103K-7AH, and JA-107K.

Installation

Mounting: Place the detector on the fixed part of the door or window and the magnet on the moving part. The magnet can be attached to either side of the detector. When mounting on a metal surface, use the provided plastic pads to create a gap between the magnet and the surface.

External Detector Parts:

• 2 - Locking screw
• 3 - Cover latch

1. Open the detector cover by pressing the latch (3).
2. Thread the cable through the prepared hole in the housing and secure the housing to the door or window frame.
3. Important: Always connect the bus cable when the system power is completely off.
4. Connect the bus cable to the terminals (6).

4. Replace the detector cover, ensuring it snaps into the cover latch (3), and secure it with the locking screw (2).
5. Attach the permanent magnet (4) to the moving part of the window or door.

Enrolment and System Settings

Enrolment and configuration depend on the specific control panel. Refer to the control panel manual and use the recommended software or application for settings.

Orientation and Detection Distance: The diagram illustrates activation/deactivation distances on non-magnetic and magnetic surfaces.
