How do I set a preferred softphone in Jabra Direct?

Prerequisites

If you have multiple softphones installed, you can select a preferred softphone. Follow these steps:

  1. Open Jabra Direct.
  2. On the left menu, click Settings.
  3. In Softphone Integration > Preferred Softphone, select your preference.

If your organisation has decided to manage the setting centrally, this will be indicated by a Lock icon ?.

The Jabra Direct application's settings window is displayed. The left-hand navigation pane includes options such as 'Device', 'Bluetooth', 'General Settings', 'Updates', 'Settings', 'Feedback', and 'Help'. The main content area shows various configuration options. Under the 'Softphone Integration' section, the 'Preferred Softphone' setting is visible. The current selection is 'Microsoft Teams', indicated by a selected radio button. A lock icon ? is displayed next to the 'Preferred Softphone' setting, signifying that this setting is centrally managed by the organization.
